*obligatory comment about apache attack helicopter edition*
@Jiminy Cricket , it's $50.
How about a non binary set? I'm feeling pretty left out and opressed here
@wannabe firefighter, The only reason people identify with a gender is because they feel that gender identifies them, because the world currently stereotypes specific things as 'manly' or 'girly'. If we remove these aspects gender is finally what it was always meant to be: males have male genetilia and females have female genetilia. - Not only that, but let's not forget that it's because we are female / male that we have different chemical balances, AKA males are more prone to being stronger than women. There are exceptions though.
@Tentastic, *removes glasses
He does exist...
The true intelligent human on the internet, who knows the the truth about gender. Please, Save our country, good sir
@Tentastic, Didn't some guy at Google get fired for pretty much saying the same thing you just did? Got some bad news for ya pal next time you show up to work... XD
@Bloodthirsty Penguin, Well without the terms "Girly" or "Manly" to describe certain actions or activities, what's the use of gender? It's supposed to describe your body, not your personality. We need to get rid of the guy/girl stereotypes because that's the problem.
Personally here I blame the women for falling for it. Not supporting the tactic though. Both falling for it and using it makes you an idiot
@carguy25, it costs more because the $5 goes to charity supporting women.
@vonwulf337, lol that's not the point
The point is that women needlessly pay extra for the same crap in a different bottle with a different scent and are willingly paying extra because it's "for women"
@carguy25, that's the joke...
@Ollie Queen, yes. And the person I was replying to didn't get that...
@carguy25, The pink tax exists outside of goods. It also applies to services. They find women getting charged more for basic services on everything from haircuts (basic trim) to dry cleaning. And also products marketed specifically towards men incur an abnormally higher cost than the "female" counterparts (such as face wash and grooming tools). Regardless, making things cost more based on the gender they are marketed for is unethical.
@Nyxa, *facepalm* did you read what I said? At all
I defend neither side of this stupidity
@carguy25, yes? I'm not really arguing with you, just adding to your statement by presenting a different side to it.
@carguy25, to be honest I'd probably buy the pink one just to have the pink box xD couldn't give two shjts if it's for him, her or apache helicopters, I just like the pink box :p
@Jipz, I personally identify as a a-10 warthog
I'm the most oppressed here
What a bargain!
From a company that packaged and sold literal bull sh!t, that people actually bought!! I assure you that they will sell a bunch of these despite their brutal honest! Lol
I think you mean they'll sell them *because* of their brutal honesty.
@CainCross , now that you mention it, I definitely think it'd a bit of both.
Pink tax is a lie
@Imperial Goat, you can just look at the cost of a Gillette men's razor vs a Gillette women's razor to see the pink tax exists.
@Nyxa, No, idiotic women exist. Buy a men's razor if paying extra bothers you so much.
@Imperial Goat, That would mean the pink tax still exists. I personally do not buy razors but the idea that a good/service costs more depending on the gender it is marketed for is a thing that exists. Collectively called "the pink tax" it exists for men as well.
Im pretty sure there are more men than women in the world last time i checked statistics but then again how accurate could that be
@Braumz, Ohhhh you can use statistics to try and prove anything, 60% of people know that.
@fettman1138, really now? Did you know 90% of people have never had sex. Like if your part of that lucky 10%
@fettman1138, did you know that 37% of all statistics are made up on the spot?
@kyleywyote, I thought it was 83%. I'll have to go back and check.
@mas2de, 60% of the time, it works every time
@Braumz, not sure why anyone would down vote you. I guess people are not in the mood to be nice today.
I'm pretty sure Cards Against Humanity is commenting on how dumb this concept is by doing it, like how the bullsh!t thing was pointing out how easily swayed consumers are
On a very very loosely semi-related note, I just found out that apparently only 40% of all man who has ever lived have had children whereas 80% of women have had children
