I sit at a computer and code all day and I always imagine how cool it would be if I could just put on a VR headset and have a room full of applications to look at instead of just 3 screens. I look a little to the left to see the IDE, a little right to see some documents, behind me to see....well that's none of your business!
@Boomhauer, gotta get that anti-blue screen. I bought my laptop so that the endless hours of staring at my screen wouldn't kill my eyes later.... Then I got my laptop and realized I'd bought the one I could almost afford and it didn't have that at all. #RIPMyEyes
@Boomhauer, I think there may actually be software that does that on Steam for the Vive. Virtual desktop like application.
@Seohn, Yep, they have it for the rift as well
@Seohn, I hadn't a clue, Now I just need to convince the company that it's a great idea and they can trust all their employees to be on task. I gotta check it out though, sounds awesome
@Boomhauer, it's the god d*mn loch Ness monster behind and he's wanting his three fiddy.
@Boomhauer, *Squidwars voice* "FUUUUTUUUUUURE!"
*karate chops the air*
@PartyFork, a VR RPG is the reason my wall has a mark. 1:0 for the controller.
@A pet named Steve, haha. damn ive actually never tried actual VR :'( i really want too!
@PartyFork, it's really cool. Many malls and big tech shops have VR headsets for trying them out, perhaps there is one near you
@A pet named Steve, yeah ill have to check that out 😁😁
@A pet named Steve, I would love to buy a vr, but I wear glasses and Im worried I would pay a few hundred dollars for nothing
@K1lgore, my dad has glasses and rather bad eyesight and loves The VR Headset. I advise trying IT out First, for at least 15 Minutes, To See if/how much it hurts your eyes and whether you can wear glasses. The Vive has a small wheel on The lower right corner that lets you regulate the "distance" of the screen, i think.
@K1lgore, the VR headsets like Vive and Oculus Rift are suppose to be designed to accommodate people with glasses.
Next thing you know they put VR in your eyes!!!... oh wait they do
F*ck the police coming straight from the underground!
The same thing was still said in 1987...
turns around, picks up zimmer and walks away.
Um...the tv hurting your eyes thing is completely false, btw.
20 years later: tv's in your own eyeballs!
