Great. Everyone is just bashing the films here. Well I'm gonna watch it, and I'm gonna enjoy it no matter what the rest of you say.
@GunSupporter I agree, I like watching those movies and know not everybody does but doesn't mean you should bash the people who do enjoy them
@GunSupporter, I love the MCU and the new DCCU, despite the obvious flaws which we will never be without they are fun
@GunSupporter, who is smashing the MCU? Since Iron Man, even the bad ones have been good, and more importantly, even the bad ones have been very profitable.
@Medic135, how did you feel about Batman V Superman?
@I Are Lebo, as a hardcore Batman fan boy, I openly admit the movie had several flaws such as poor editing that diminished the plot and severe shoehorning of other characters as well as a somewhat rushed ending (supes shoulda got one more movie before dying), but I still enjoyed the movie I think Affleck does a great Bruce Wayne and I think it got more hate than it deserved when compared to many other comic movies
@I Are Lebo, when I got here, the only comments were negative.
@GunSupporter, I saw it last night and it’s a good time. Not perfect but better than average. Worth your time.
@Medic135, I will never criticize someone for what they enjoy. I always say that there is a big difference between a movie being bad and a movie being unenjoyable. You can enjoy a bad movie every bit as much as you can not enjoy a good movie. Very few movies out there are truly unenjoyable, and most of the time it boils down to the people making it not caring or phoning it in. Even then, it's pretty subjective.
But truly, that movie was a bad movie. The special effects were pretty good, but that's the extent to which my positivity can go. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor, but he was still definitely not the right casting choice.
Also, I don't think anyone believes that Superman is really dead and gone. It's such a transparent plot device.
@I Are Lebo, you're clearly not a comic book fan, the death of Superman is a classic storyline that ends with his Resurrection it's not a transparent plot point it's an adaptation from book
@Medic135, I get that. But they had not one, but two death fakeouts in the same movie. From a script writers perspective, painfully transparent.
It falls under similar levels of cliche to a character exclaiming that they're only a week from retirement immediately before getting killed.
@I Are Lebo, to a comic fan it wasn't a big deal, the first one was a Dark Knight Returns reference and the second was the death of Superman
The movie takes it's influence from those two books as well as Justice League War, but I see your criticism it was far from a perfect movie much like age of Ultron or Dark Knight rises, but to most fans it was still fun to watch on screen
@Medic135, I get that. From a moviemaker's perspective, they were doing too much. Spider Man 3 Syndrome.
@I Are Lebo, agreed
Has, has it been that long?
@soggy lasagna, I agree
@Permanentlyhandsome, they got bad :/ it's sad.
@soggy lasagna, I'm afraid that they won't do the Infinity Gauntlet justice
@Permanentlyhandsome, I'm scared they're just going to stop making movies in general. I'm pretty sure they lost a good chunk of there're fan base after they kept releasing these movies that are nothing like when that first avengers came out. That movie made me excited for all these other ones and I've been disappointed every time :/
@soggy lasagna, what lol? The Marvel universe is better and more successful than ever haha
@TR8R, it's all opinion man.
@TR8R, like will I watch it? Probably end up watching it some time. I just believe the movies were better back then. Just my opinion as yours is they are better. I also believe that Spiderman needs to stop having movies lmao
@soggy lasagna, you're being a reeeeeal soggy lasagna about this. Your opinion can no longer be taken seriously after this blaspheming in regard to Spider-Man. Shame on you. Go back to your beloved Twilight movies where you belong.
@HoorayFerSocks, twilight sucks man :,(
@soggy lasagna, I agree. Twilight sucks. You've redeemed yourself... but only a little.
@soggy lasagna, I'm so tired of the Spider-Man argument. There have been 3 Spider-Man actors in 15 years ('02-17). In about that same time frame, there have been 4 Batman actors ('89-'05). Nobody says anything about Batman, and a lot of those movies are terrible
@Cruxio , I totally agree
@soggy lasagna, how can you believe that though. Iron man 2 is the worst of the Marcel franchise, and that is the second entry in the MCU
Wait, there's a new avengers movie coming out?
@Empshok, hmm...it would seem I've somehow offended someone.
The female part's a little underwritten.
@Yorksen, You can shut your dirty, wh0re, SJW, mouth.
Oh no, his Gettyitis has advanced and become terminal
Gosh I feel old.
It should be entertaining. If I am entertained, the goal has been met.
