@Aaron Leibowitz, I'm gonna play THE F*CK outta this game my hand to God!
This also affects how characters treat you in game. A black character will make less money and have a harder time progressing
I've always liked played medium anyway.
@Johnny Karate, I always play the hardest difficulty, because modern games are way too easy.
Is this out now!?!
@Twitch223, Not yet, this is from a preview version of the game.
@CriTiKa1, yea it's out next month.. can't wait. The first game was awesome.
Kotaku freaked out over this.
Because our society is sooo wacist.
@BlazingBowman, even considering that a lot of the "racist" stuff you see on the interwebs is just cry babies, black and brown folk do typically have a more difficult time in general than yellow and white folk.
We haven't even had a black president. He was half white. Our country may not be the racist country of "the good ol days" but yeah nah this is still pretty accurate. Even well dressed, successful business black folk driving nice cars in nice neighborhoods that are upstanding members of their communities get harassed by the police. I'm not even talking about rich, I'm talking 9-5 holding black folk. I may not scream about underprivileged black youth or whatever other liberal nonsense, there are still disadvantages to being darker than tan. I am a Republican too by the way, just didn't vote for Trump. Yes that is a thing, no not all "right wing" people are assholes.
@crustybucket, several things here, one i find it pretty funny how you dont think a half black person can be black. Two i highly doubt the rich black person will still be harassed by the cops unless for some reason their in a poor black neighborhood inwhich case theyre just filling out profiles which isnt racist, if there was a large white gang where i lived killing people i wouldnt mind the cops pulling me over i have nothing to hide, and three why does voting for trump make you an asshole? Its because you think hes a racist isnt it?
@crustybucket, or maybe you were referring to that footballer who got arrested during the "shooting" lol he was not profiled just so you know they went in there thinking someone was shooting and the little idiot hid and then ran when he saw the cops what you think the cops were gonna do.
@BlazingBowman, yeah sure. Half black is actually not black. It's mixed. That is it's own race.
No it's perfectly common for rich black ppl to get pulled over for no reason besides being black. It doesn't happen everywhere but that doesn't make it any less real. It's ok to say "yes you are correct in that" without losing anything. It hurts no one to say that it is entirely possible for it to happen in this country, but you haven't seen it personally. I have. It sucks.
Furthermore, I never said Trump was an asshole or a racist. That's your projection. I would also like to add that alt right has given the Republican party that black eye. People who still cling to the idea that if you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about have not, and likely will not improve that image of the party. There have been multiple occasions where the police have outright manufactured or planted evidence against someone who had done no wrong. It's usually not white people
@crustybucket, never said ya did think that trump was a racist, though you heavily implied voting for him made you an asshole.
@BlazingBowman, denying there is a problem makes it larger. Yes police officers shoot unarmed people all the time and the statistics point to white ppl being a bulk of it, but when applied to the larger subgroup it does appear to be more against blacks per capita as a race.
Blacks are more likely to be born into generational poverty. Factors within the neighborhoods perpetuate it. Even in multicultural environments with an even distribution there are still instances where blacks are given substandard treatment as a basis of their skin color. The ladder gets tough to climb as you remove rungs. Each rung is an opportunity that they didn't get because of an attitude and cultural bias. It's a little complicated. If you aren't willing to open your eyes to it and approach with a willingness to see things from a different point of view then there is nothing I cam say that will persuade you otherwise. That in itself doesn't make you a racist, it just makes you blind to it.
@BlazingBowman, it's an honorable goal to erase the idea of race, and see no difference between them but to do so without acknowledging that we aren't even close to that as a country is pure ignorance. Black people of all socioeconomic backgrounds still get mistreated and that's not right. We need to see each person as a human being, no different from your neighbor or your cousin. Each individual has a story, and they need to be treated with respect. The police need to back off, the thugs and gangsters need to see them as a human being doing their job. There is fault on both sides. Not every white person is racist and not every black person should be treated with suspicion, and sadly that's where this country is, because of negative cultural stereotypes. That's all I was trying to say.
Yes black people have a harder life than most white people. It's true, and if you ignore it that is contributing to it. We don't have to bend down and kiss their feet, but come on man.
@crustybucket, i would argue blacks gave more oppertunitys than whites, they have litterally hundreds of pages of scholarships inwhich the only requirment is being black, and quotas make it easier for a black person to be hired over a white person who has more training and skill. By every metric that can be government enforced blacks have more oppertunities.
@crustybucket, and you seem to forget that blacks commit over half the violent crime in america despite being less than 13% of the population. There is no discriminatiom based on race in this nation unless its in reverse, any actrual racism towards blacks is so tiny of a percentage its nor even worth mentioning. Black populations are in the situation they are in because of their decisions amd this victim complex to blame every mistake theyve ever made on whites, and this boogyman racism.
@BlazingBowman, I think I've gotten all the information I need about you. Good day
@BlazingBowman, very uninformed you are. You can doubt racial profiling but it still exists. Every organization in America that tracks these things admits it. Or jist watch the news and enjoy the video of a pro tennis player dressed like he was about to play standing outside one of the best hotels in Buck's Times Square get tackled and thrown to the ground. Guess it was his menacing texting. Or how Magic Johnson and Samuel L Jackson, two of the richest and most famous black men in the world were called freeloading refugees as they sat on a bench with shopping bags from expensive stores. You are willfully ignorant of things that any person can see if their eyes are open.
@SirLoveday,yeah you see stories like that are always bullsh!t. Not because theyre not true no its becayse their half false. The media has a narrative to spin and idiots to trick like you. Oh and by the by profiling isnt racist. When someone commits a crime and they have a witness they have to get a discription of the criminal and a skin color is kinda discriptive.
