iPhones store Touch ID and Face ID on a physical chip on your phone, it doesn’t get sent to any servers, even Apple’s. Third party apps aren’t allowed to access it until you give them permission, and even then they’re not allowed to “read” it or take any data away. Same deal with health information. I know facts are annoying and pesky but they do exist.
@FP Waiter, it's almost like Apple thought it out and made sure things were secure and stuff....weird
@FP Waiter, yeah cause it's not like you still cant get the data off it super easy or anything but sure go ahead be diluted
@FP Waiter, apple has also refused to create back doors into people's iPhones for the FBI and police.
@Reluctantkitty , thanks I’ll keep adding water until it’s completely diluted
@Reluctantkitty , That's actually completely wrong. Not even jailbreakers can get in there. Even if iOS is compromised, the data is locked in a physically separate chip that cannot be accessed by the OS. But sure, stay on that anti-Apple circlejerk.
@Massive Liar, because everything is uncrackable right?
@Reluctantkitty , iOS is so much safer and more secure than other mobile OS, ESPECIALLY Android. Don’t whine and moan about Apple’s security and pretend any other mobile OS does a damn thing better.
@FP Waiter, I don't think i ever said anything was better actually but alright capn whatever you say
@Reluctantkitty , Then what's your point? That phones have valuable data and that can abused if you aren't careful? Wow, what a revolutionary comment. You've really opened my eyes to the dangers of hacks and information stealing.
@Pandaren Brewmaster, Thanks i'm glad i was able to help open your eyes -_^
@Reluctantkitty , you're a cünt
@FP Waiter, hahaha goddamn man your comments have been on point recently
@FP Waiter, keep thinking that buddy
@Massive Liar, I don't want this to come off as a point of argument, just an actual question because I don't understand this stuff. How's it use the scans to open the phone if the OS can't access the data?
That third one is my cumface
@mtndewman9791, oh, crap. You got to it first.
But I thought android users keep bragging about how they've had all these features for years?
Why is that guy on the left wearing lipstick?
It's cool that Apple finally has those things.
Isn’t he dead?
Is...that his "comeface?"
update: mtndewman9791 made this comment first. Jus giving credit where it's due.
But like couldn't the nsa just use their own facial recognition software on the feed they get from like almost any camera anyway?
Thanks for serving up the hot knowledge
