Just needs some duct tape

My grandmas tire caught on fire from driving it on the rims, so she did the smartest thing she could do. Pull into a gas station.
@But fvck it, back when your grandma was young almost every gas station was also a service shop. Dedicated service stations didn't get popular until cars started getting designed by badgers with a snake biting their jimmies.
It's reading 32. . . Must be the computer
@SsumGuy, have you tried turning it off and on again?
That tire is thinner than my will to live
@Good Guy Satan, what tire
@Good Guy Satan, *thicker
Sad to say, I've seen this plenty of times
@Not him again, x
@WelI Obviously, naw man, people take the term runflat to the extreme. And I know these were because both sidewalls are still completely on
@WelI Obviously, I worked at a tire shop and seen it a few times too
@Not him again, ya know, I guess I'm not really surprised. There are too many people out there that think cars just run on gas and happy thoughts.
@nismo, *customer states vibration*
@Not him again, *customers rim is missing a chunk at the lip*
@Not him again, especially when they have a nice expensive car.
@nismo, for real though, the place I used to work at gave full warranties on tires for free, and people would come in with low-pros complaining about slow leaks with a fat chunk missing from their rim, and I'd be like yeah it'll seat the bead, but it's not going to hold air unless you buy a new rim. I don't know how many tires I've had to replace for free. If people kept coming back I'd straight up tell them you aren't getting a new tire until you get a new rim
@WelI Obviously, I was a tech before I was a manager, and I'd have people come in for a safety/emissions test with the shjttiest car you've ever seen, and of course I'd write up the estimate to have it pass (because it's the law), and people just would not understand why their worthless vehicle needs 4000 dollars worth of work to pass safety. And it wasn't a sell point. That's REALLY illegal. I can't tell you how many times I've had to kick people out of the shop for being irate, or said "there's a firestone right across the street, take it to them"
Mercedez. It's probably a staggered pressure for front and rear. Have the tires been rotated recently?
Recheck the sensor.
Don’t judge her! Just put some air in it so she could get back to driving!
Lucky she’s alive
She should have put electrical tape over the tire light.
I learned how to check and fix my tire pressure with nothing but the help from a YouTube video a couple weeks ago. And as a girl who knows nothing about cars, this is a big deal and I'm very proud of myself.
Imagine the last time she changed her oil
Well, she wasn't wrong....
