(It's funny because all cells divide with themselves)
@Smo Queed, except for sex cells.
I say this movie when I was like 6 or 8, didn't understand untill now that I'm 20. Looking back now, biology was worth it learning this joke. (mitosis and meosis joke)
What was this show called? I remember seeing it as a kid
@xXRoadSpikeXx, osmosis jones
Add this one to jokes I did not understand as a child
They’d divide alone anyway if they’re somatic cells. Unless he’s a sperm looking for an egg to form a zygote, he ain’t combining then dividing. That’d also change the movie a lot and be super sketch.
Edit: I now see they just mean dividing next to each other... which is still sketch...
@PBnJ, unless he’s a bacteria- they have sexual exchange of information
@ajr12100, I hope they’re not bacteria or the whole movie is messed up... But yea, conjugation via sex pilis/F pilus
@ajr12100, Bacteria can transfer DNA through conjugation, but it’s not really the same as sexual reproduction as they are not producing offspring and it is a one-way transfer
@Shroominator, well, if the character in the image was a bacteria, he could still brag about the ‘female’ bacteria lining up for his one way transfers
Somebody pay the bill, it's cold in here!
Because of mitosis and meosis
