Please don’t use YouTube as your babysitter, even on “kid friendly” YouTube.
@FP Waiter, agreed, and still "kid friendly" is what the fvck-y to anyone who isnt a younger kid
@FP Waiter, sometimes it's easier said than done
@FP Waiter, I use YouTube as a baby sitter, they say that kids before the age of three can't pick up anything from tv, even educational shows but my child has learned to count, his shapes, colors, alphabet, and much more from YouTube with a bit of reinforcement from us, before he turned two, even his doctor was impressed.
I wouldn't say leave it on twenty-four hours, but during those times you have to cook, clean, or it's four in the morning and you'll die if you can't sleep five more minutes it can be a good, educational babysitter.
@Bluemama, can’t argue there, hopefully you’ve vetted or trust the channels they watch. Really shady stuff can sneak into kids YouTube
@FP Waiter, yeah, I've seen some real shady stuff, he sticks to three channels, pink Fong, Dave and Ava, and some educational animal one I can't remember the name of right now.
I also try to not let it rule his world, we go outside, do bike rides, and he doesn't watch YouTube or play on my phone when we go out to restaurants.
This is actually really sad
Wait, it doesn't?
@MrPrez, I'm confused too. Someone can pls explain?
This is either a good or bad thing
Well....*cocks shotgun* he lived a good life
My sister has done this.
