You go to Ethiopia and buy a lot of bananas and go to Australia and sell them
@YouThisReadWrong, i actually work for the largest supermarket in australia and the current price is $3.90/kg. Im standing infront of the display as i type this
@YouThisReadWrong, while I’m there I should try Ethiopian food since I’ve never had it.
@Mr Sarcastic, wait I just remembered neither have they
@YouThisReadWrong, there is always money in the banana stand.
@JackBlackSackAttack, which is 1.77/lb so 3lbs would be $5.31 which is pretty close
@Mr Sarcastic, try their bananas I heard you can get a lot of them for $5
@Mr Sarcastic, I saw a documentary where they bake cookies out of soil, water, and the sun. So they are literally eating dirt for food. They even know what soil is good tasting for consumption and which is not
@YouThisReadWrong, The Australians are seriously strict about importing food (or anything which could bring in parasites or contaminants) - you rock up at the airport with a bunch of bananas in your luggage and you could be fined hundreds of dollars. Turn up with a suitcase full to sell and they’ll probably put you in prison.
Bananas for scale
@JackBlackSackAttack, I wanted to but you beat me to it ., one critique **
Where the fvck are they buying 8.5 lbs of bananas in the USA
@BigJohnson86, this is exactly what I thought.
Oooh that’s cool. I have a friend in Namibia
BANANA. -Yoshiko, probably
It’s simple! Buy banana from Ethiopia, sell it in Australia!
So know how that scale things in a picture
Seriously stuff Australia. We are overpriced in everything. 5 kids bananas, not even the big ones cost me 4.50
You go bananas obviously
25 seems a little small...
