To me the most impressive part of this story isn't David murdering the giant with a pebble, but the fact that this child was so raw he instinctively took Goliath's sword and hacked the guy's head off.
@DividedAlliance, i don't remember that part of the story, goddamn
@MrWonka, Yep. And when King Saul lost his mind and started trying to kill David the second or third time, David ran off. He came to a priest and asked for a sword, and was given Goliath's sword. So David was a chosen king on the run with a ragtag army and wielding a giant sword. He was basically an anime character.
@DividedAlliance, he watched Zombieland. He knew to double tap.
@DividedAlliance, best part
@SimonPetrikov, all modern anime is based on the old testament
@DividedAlliance, yeah veggie tales left that part out
More like one faithful boi, cause David only won through his faith in God
This is why there aren't a lot of popular Christian comedians.
There's actually a TED talk about why did David actually had all the advantages in this fight
Goliath was just trying to smell what the rock was cooking. He just couldn’t handle it.
Wouldn’t it be “some rocky bois?” Or would it be “one rocky boi”
@Under The Gloves , you can use some and refer to something as either singular ot plural.
ie. Some random boy just killed goliath.
@Under The Gloves , Some isn't necessarily referring to a plural. For example: "Who was at the door?"
"Just some guy"
Some: used to refer to someone or something that is unknown or unspecified.
@Chicken0War, yeah I guess, just didn’t sound right to me hahaha
