I protect my phone with my life if I have to. But I know people who destroy one phone after the other like they had all the money in the world
@A pet named Steve, there was an entire news story about how people were already destroying their new phones within hours of getting it
@A pet named Steve, I never understand why people don't use cases. Whenever I get a new phone. I don't ever leave the store without a case. And in my situation neither do I leave without a screen protector.
@Hannah Kanaan, Same. I don't care how ugly the case is, it's better than wrecking your phone. And I usually use a screen protector, but on my current phone they always fall off or make tapping on it difficult so I don't use one on it. I very rarely drop my phone anyway.
@A pet named Steve, Especially if the phone cost like $1000.. Plus, people don't see us going outside naked do they?.. Lol
@Hannah Kanaan, I’ve had every generation of iPhone and never used a case or screen protector. All of them still looked brand new when I traded them in.
@A pet named Steve, there is an in between you should really consider.
@A pet named Steve, same. I spent $400 on this phone. I plan to have it at least 5 years.
@Hannah Kanaan, I use flip cases. Screen protectors are a nightmare to deal with.
You should try turning it off and back on again.
How you even manage to break it that badly? Unless it was on purpose
@Alpha Warrior, that's a hammer or stomping on it. Doesn't just happen.
@Richard Cypher, who would throw $1000 plus just like that?
@Alpha Warrior, who camps in front of the store for 2+days just to spend that $1000 lol
@Alpha Warrior, the iphone x has a glass back. My guess is they dropped it
@Alpha Warrior, it probably slid off his leg and fell approx. 1ft to the ground
@Alpha Warrior, it was the victim of a YouTube drop test video or something
@FP Waiter, ok but that's no fall
@Alpha Warrior, my guess is a hammer
I type this on my iPhone 6+, picked up a few months after release. When I got it appraised for trade in recently the guy at the AT&T store was floored that it’s in almost perfect condition. I even still get a full day of battery life out of it.
@RevenantofAshes , He was?? I just traded mine in the dude didn’t even look up lmao
@RevenantofAshes , I'm typing to you on an ipad 2. Still works great!
I had an iphone 3 then 4 then 5c and now 5s... and I’ve dropped all of them so many times and I never broke any of them.. not even a cracked screen.. so I really don’t understand what people do to break theirs. I even dropped one on my toe and i lost my nail but my iphone was all fine
@hooman, I currently have the 7+ and I've dropped it on loose gravel at work before and panicked cause it landed on the screen but never messed it up
Dont get how people even drop their phones, ive never dropped a phone unless someone knocks it out of my hand
Well, there goes a thousand bucks. Right down the toilet.
"Yay.. let's put fragile material on it just so it looks good".
@CynicalSir, "This way ppl will continuously break them and have to keep paying us $1000+ to get a new one every month! Genius!"
Dude That Really Happened??!!😲😲😲😲
The ravages of Qi charging!
Now this shìt always make me fcking mad. Do you have any idea how much resources and energy it takes to extract the fcking metal, clean it, transport it and assemble a fcking smartphone? How much does it impact on your carbon footprint?
Guys, don't break/change your smartphone as long as you can, not only for the cost of it, but also because the energy it takes to make it is greater than the energy you will consume recharching its battery during its whole life
