What do you do when there are too many wolves?
@Steve the cat, release deer?
@Honaw Fierceclaw, no that would just give more food for the wolves which allows there to be more of them. Just have an open season hunt on wolves if they get out of hand or trap and relocate them into other areas experiencing problems with rising deer populations
@Steve the cat, more wolves
@Steve the cat, bigger wolves
@Steve the cat, Super wolves.
@Steve the cat, wolves obviously. Weren’t you listening?
There were a series of commercials in the 90's for a company called Outpost that did this in the commercials. Great commercials.
I'm pretty sure deer populations are controlled by hunters. If it gets bad, some areas will pay by the doe.
Birth control for deer is also another very effective way to control populations
The deer where I from have become so used to people that they pretty much just do whatever they want. They’ll take their times crossing a busy street, take naps in the middle of the road, walk right up to cars, and go wherever they want. I was almost late for work on Tuesday because a family of deer were just standing in the entrance of the parking lot and watching the cars go by.
@erickylematthews, deer in my area have become smart enough to look both ways before crossing the street. I've seen it happen more than once. Then again there's are also the deer that run across the road in the middle of the night when I'm literally the only car to drive on that road for probably hours and they just had to choose that one particular moment to sprint in front of me as if running towards the big bright scary loud thing was going to save their life
So wolves are the answer...
