But removing the cpu fan will only turn it off AFTER it overheats. Removing the power supply seems like the next true step in this escalation.
@Mr Literal, if you run a computer without any kind if cooling for the cpu, the cpu can burn itself out in mere seconds, but there is little risk to you. Pulling out the psu while it's running is much more dangerous, and as this seems to scale on stupidity, I'd say psu come after cpu fan
