Well... quess I'm off to rob costco...
@humantrash, need a driver ? I handle big trucks and vans very well
@humantrash, you'll need a team in order to rob this place.

@megamanx181x, I mean we can try but not sure if we are A team material just yet maybe B team we can rank up
@DrSin, alright B team is unique enough!’let’s do this!
@megamanx181x, I got the guns!
@megamanx181x, and a whole lot of water so I can narrate
Just because you can, doesn't necessarily mean that you should
@Suicide Squad Sucks, If you have a large disposable income I think it means you have to
@Suicide Squad Sucks, you clearly don’t understand how economics works.
@Suicide Squad Sucks, I can see no reason why anybody SHOULD buy a barrel of Jack Daniels... but if I could, I would
@Suicide Squad Sucks, If you had the financial means to purchase that without causing yourself hardship or forgoing something else, you’d have no reason not to.
It doesn’t matter if you like JD or not, you’re not buying it for the whiskey - you’re buying it so you can own a barrel of whiskey. Buy some decent Scotch to drink yourself, keep that so that you can refer to the barrel of JD in the cellar.
@kyleywyote, there are bars that buy this.... also I know of a hunting camp that has hundreds of people come through it every year and they would make use of this without any issues.
Why would you want a barrel of paint thinner?
That's about all Jack Daniels is good for.
@Kliment Voroshilov, you shut your whore mouth you commie!
@WelI Obviously, Pardon me for enjoying fine spirits, not some dreck made to be as cheap as possible.
@Kliment Voroshilov, some people don't want "fine" spirits, and most people don't want to spend the money on "fine" spirits. It's like beer.... Sometimes you just want a beer, and sometimes you want a BEER.
@WelI Obviously, Fine spirits =/= expensive. One of my favorite bourbons is wild turkey 101 and it is only slightly more expensive and much higher quality.
See I don't understand the drive to drink for the sake of drinking. I have a glass of bourbon or scotch on occasion and maybe a pipe to go with it but I never "pound" shots for the sake of getting plastered.
@Kliment Voroshilov, I love me some turkey!!...... That's bourbon though obviously, but I totally get where you're coming from. It's not always about pounding shots tho, you just get more for less, and some people just like the flavor and utility of it. The better stuff is also usually stronger in flavor and ABV, which not everyone wants. Also a lot of people want to mix their bevs, which would be a big waste of even something like Turkey.
@Kliment Voroshilov, regular wild turkey is cheaper than jack Daniels... and if you're gonna spend "slightly more" Gentleman's jack tastes better than 101.... so your logic is flawed.
@RiffRaff, where I live you can get standard Jack for anywhere between $5-10 cheaper than 101. Taste is subjective, but if we are comparing gentleman Jack which is meant to be an "upmarket" bottling you would be better off comparing it to wild turkey rare breed. Which I believe would beat gentleman Jack handily.
Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel has been sold this way for many years, this is just and example of Costco acting as the retailer.
A customer buys a full barrel from the distillery that is among their highest quality, then it is bottled and shipped in the retail sized 750mL Single Barrel bottles along with the barrel itself. The bottles of Single Barrel found in stores are these bottles redistributed for sale. It works out to about $30-40 a bottle of you buy the barrel.
Meh. I'm sure a barrel of paint stripper is cheaper. Essentially the same thing.
Since like 2 years ago.
If you buy a barrel straight from the distillery, they let you sample from 3 barrels and pick your favorite
It's like a 60% mark up on buying by the liter which is obviously slightly more expensive then buying by the 1.75L
Well, guess I need a Costco membership
