So I'd like a reasonable explaination from someone who works at or has worked at a McDonalds. What exactly happens when the ice cream machine goes down? How does it break?
I need answers
@Brr Is Cold, I don't work at McDonald's, but I have heard that these machines are very tough to clean, so while they are cleaning them they simply say that they're "currently out of order". Has never happened to me, though. I have a friend that works at McDonald's, maybe I should ask him about it haha
@A pet named Steve, you'd think they'd just say, "Sorry the machine is down for cleaning at the moment."
@Robin the Tactician, no, if they say that, the people craving ice cream will say "Oh, ok I'll wait" and it will take a long while and then they will be mad and scream "how long does it fvcking take to clean a fvcking machine" and then they will let loose a massive roar and tear down the wall, shooting lazer out of their eyes.
@Caligo, And then the manager, Mary, will call out to the person who said the machine was being cleaned, Carlos. "Carlos, you beatiful fool, what have you done"
"it's Mary, Carlos..."
"Mary! I just said to the lady we where cleaning the ice cream machine" "Carlos, cant you see what you have done? you have doomed us all"
"Mary, I love you"
"I love you to Carlos, but now is not the time... my heart still aches after... STEPHEN" *thunder in the backround*
"Mary my love, I will make you forget all about Stephen"
@Brr Is Cold, most often it is because the machine is cleaning itself. The machine does this at random (the workers don't control it and can't stop it). It cleans itself through the use of heat, so it takes forever to cool down enough to dispense ice cream. The machines are junk. McManager out
@Brr Is Cold, i used to be a maintenance guy who cleaned these, they do require weekly cleaning, however, it goes into a sort of deep heating mode to keep the mix safe to consume throughout the day, which takes forever to finish, and even when it does finish it has to deep cool to thicken up, most of the time its not broken, its in this mode and unusable at that time, hope this helps. :)
@Caligo, That escalated quickly.
@Caligo, you should write for television
