Scary marijuana stat:
Smo Queed hasn’t commented since 2017
@Donald Trump, #Savemyñiggāsmo
@Donald Trump, he’s probably been too high to find his phone
@CaptainCrunchyCvnt, or so high he got stuck in 2017
@TheyCallMeTaterSalad, being death, I can see everything humans. There are some things I regret seeing. *has 'nam flashbacks of 2017 feminist marches
It was like watching the space time continuum ripple before my eyes...
Marijuana stats and alcohol stats aren't collected to the same level. Marijuana is not tested for as much as alcohol, at least not until recently.
There actually are deaths associated with Marijuana use, as much as some people don't like to admit it.
@RogueKnight, but the marijuana related deaths are not due to overdosing they would be caused by other factors like impaired judgment
@Laurenkelly, like most alcohol related deaths...
@RogueKnight, There are also a lot of alcohol related deaths that are reported wrong to save face with their victims. They don’t report them as Alcohol poisoning. Something that most families don’t come out and say.
@Seohn, I highly doubt that happens often enough to significantly skew the stats.
@the fork, no but it happens enough to prove the point that no matter how you look at it. Alcohol is far worse than marijuana. Because it can straight kill you very easily. Happens a lot more than people realize.
@Seohn, I don't think he was saying that alcohol isn't dangerous. Just that marijuana can be also, but smokers get so defensive when anyone acts like it's not some sort of miracle drug.
@the fork, sure there are people who get defensive. Just like their people who get defensive about cigarettes and alcohol. That’s just normal. By the way I don’t smoke. Nor have I ever tried smoking. Yes I have tried alcohol. I just don’t drink that often. Love me some Long Island Ice Tea.
The point is that just because people get defensive about it. Doesn’t change facts.
@Seohn, you're right, it doesn't change facts. But I've never met someone that denies that smoking and drinking are bad for you. People get defensive about those things if they think you're specifically judging them personally. They don't like it if they think you're telling them they have a problem, or if they think you're putting them down for it. But you don't see them commenting all over posts that point out that they're bad for you.
@the fork, you are correct. I'm not saying alcohol isn't bad for you, isn't dangerous.
I'm just tired of Marijuana supporters saying it is harmless. It isn't.there are deaths attributed to Marijuana use, now that studies are actually being done. It isn't harmless, both due to how it inhibits judgement (so does alcohol) and because of long term effects.
And I'm sorry, deny it all you want, but smoke it often enough and it makes you stupid even if you aren't high. I have friends who smoke and they are dumb as rocks, but when they stop smoking it for a while, they "get" smarter.
@RogueKnight, and trying to compare the numbers of a legal substance that you can get anywhere to those of an illegal substance that you literally have to participate in a drug deal to get, is absurd. Obviously there will be a lot more people drinking in the US than smoking weed.
Let's compare the death toll from car wrecks involving licenced vehicles vs unlicensed vehicles. UNLICENSED VEHICLES ARE SO MUCH SAFER THAN LICENSED, LOOK AT THE NUMBERS!
@RogueKnight, most of the time it’s not so much that marijuana supporters are saying that it’s harmless. When they compare marijuana and alcohol what they’re comparing is that alcohol can kill you from overdose. I’ve not heard of marijuana killing somebody from an overdose. That’s the connection people are trying to make. Not that they die from doing stupid things. People do stupid things and die without drugs. That’s what makes alcohol more dangerous. Or so I hear.
@RogueKnight, @the fork, but honestly there’s far more deaths associated with alcohol than marijuana. alcohol poisoning happens a decent amount while overdosing on marijuana would be practically impossible, and it actually does hold a lot of medical benefits. And for the record no I don’t smoke it myself either.
@Laurenkelly, I'm not saying that marijuana is more dangerous I'm just saying that the stats are skewed. Of course alcohol kills more people, it's legal and more people have easy access to it.
Scary marijuana facts: •Marijuana reduces reaction time and can cause accidents
•Smoking marijuana can give you lung cancer
Drug responsibly, kids.
@Depressed Panda, other side effects include:
Poor memory, Increased creativity, Bomb ass sex, Deep relaxation, Increased appetite, Appreciation of Ugandan Knuckles, Poor memory
And many more
@Anass Rhammer, and poor memory
@Anass Rhammer, and appreciation of Ugandan Knuckles
@Depressed Panda, those are so inaccurate I wanna know if you're joking. Tell me you are so the desire to slap you will go away.
@The 911 Masturbator, marijuana causes a sense of relaxation, altered perception of time, and potentially hallucinations if it's unexpectedly strong. All of these can impair driving.
Smoking marijuana puts smoke in your lungs. Smoke in your lungs causes lung cancer.
What is inaccurate here?
@Depressed Panda, so you weren't kidding. Wow. Wow. Please, slap yourself across the face for me.
You must live in some bible belt state run by dumb religious fvckwads where they still preach reefer madness bullshjt about cannabis. So allow me to enlighten you a little bit.
Cannabis has ZERO negative impact on lung function.
For the first time and occassional user, I'm sure it can be somewhat "impairing", but cannabis has made no significant impact on DUIs in places where it is legal. I drove for Uber as a single hustle for six months every weekend back in 2016 and went to work high every single time. Did I get in any accidents? Nope. Does my 60 year old neighbor get in accidents when he drives for Lyft high? Nope. Do any of my co workers or bosses from the dispensary where I worked (prior to moving to Japan) ever get in accidents driving to or from work high? Nope.
Funny, it's almost as if whoever told you that shjt was lying to you. And you believed it without a second thought. LOL
@The 911 Masturbator,
Firstly, just because you think I'm wrong doesn't mean you have to be a shjthead. There were many polite ways you could correct me.
Second, it is a known fact that because joints are unfiltered, you inhale dangerous chemicals from the paper.
Lastly, as @RogueKnight mentions above, there aren't a lot of statistics on marijuana DUIs (in part because there is no field test for marijuana), so I have to make an educated guess at whether marijuana can impact your driving ability based on its effects. You may not notice a difference when driving high, but I'm willing to bet that your reaction time is not as good.
If you do reply. Please be civil. I'm not calling you an idiot or saying you are definitely wrong. I just disagree with you.
@Depressed Panda, and that's fine if you do. No body wants people they hate to be right. That's why popular people are fvcking dumb, especially on this app.
Omg I can’t believe it. We need to outlaw alcohol as well
We should ban guns because of this
