My grandma has had Alzheimer's for years. Everytime i come over she asks how I'm doing in school (been out for a decade).
@Oujosh29, Thats really sad 😢
My grandfather has Alzheimer's too and he'll repeat things and re-ask for information often also.
@Angelsupreme, whats really sad is she doesn't remeber who my grandpa is. She thinks he's staff at some hotel. She keeps asking where her husband is and my grandpa keeps telling her he's right there. Growing old sucks
@Oujosh29, Yeah :(
I'm sorry friend, that's a sucky situation and one that you can't do much about.
@Oujosh29, my grandma passed from it. I remember of times that she would talk to herself in mirrors and family portaits.
I may have Alzheimer’s, but at least I don’t have Alzheimer’s!
Some things are never forgotten.
When my grandma was in the nursing home with Alzheimer's my dad kept buying her those weekly world news magazines (The one with bat boy) and the front cover said 'Elvis still alive!" She got really sad in the face and said, "When did Elvis die?"
My great grandmother got 7 out of 30 questions correct on the Alzheimers test a couple days ago.
@NightShift Janitor, could you explain what that means? You know, for the people who don't know.
@TheNuttyChipmunk, There is a test you take to see if you have Alzheimers or at least some symptoms. Part of the test is they ask you some personalized and general knowledge questions that everyone should know. For example, what year is it?
As an Oklahoman, I used to love KD memes. Now I can’t stand them, I didn’t even read the joke here, but I hope it was funny for the rest y’all
"I asked if you want some more tamales!"
@Sexy Homunculus, I just learned what your name means after all these years. And just in time for your new logo
