One of these does not belong...looking at you Twilight..
@LorienNine, One of these things is not like the others. One of these things just doesn't belong.
@LorienNine, so since I got a downvote from a fan I’m assuming, I’m bagging the movies. Never read the books so can’t say if they’re good or not. But the movies...come on....
@LorienNine, I never watched the movies and I sure as hell never read the books but I can tell you they're bad. How bad? I checked out a book once that had no punctuation. No periods, no quotation marks, NO punctuation. I would rather find that book and read it again than read those books
@LorienNine, Not just cause it's bad either. SPOILERS out of respect for people who haven't seen it, but...the fight doesn't even actually happen. It literally doesn't belong there because there are no stakes.
@SimonPetrikov, yeah I wouldn’t know. I think I only ever watched the first one at the bidding of an ex and then I’ve seen bits and pieces of others. They just feel bad in general and as an avid reader, I hate seeing things like that tank even if they aren’t my genre. *shudders at memory of the train wreck of Eragon*
@LorienNine, I only saw the first movie as well, but I watched the Honest Trailers and Cinemasins videos for it.
I want you to hit me as hard as you can.
@xJOHNNYxxBOYx, not some arbitrary percentage
@xJOHNNYxxBOYx, you are not your f***ing khakis!
What is the first rule about fight club!!
Am I the only one who didn't think Batman Vs Superman was terrible? Don't get me wrong it wasn't a great movie but I didn't think it was god awful like most seem to think.
@TheGreatPwn, I liked it, although I do have a preference for DC films/comics in general
@TheGreatPwn, Everyone likes different movies, but if you look at BvS from the perspective of those with moderate knowledge of the DC comics, which a lot of people were, it's utter trash. They made Batman go from "planning for if Superman goes bad" to "There's a small chance Superman can go bad, I'm gonna kill him". The resolution to their fight was just plain stupid (and memeworthy). They tried to cram two of the most popular DC comics events ever into a single movie and utterly failed. Luthor's casting choice in general was just stupid, I mean he's this intimidating man who could go toe to toe with Superman and yet they made him like that little kid in high school who tries to hang out with all the jocks and be cool with them. Doomsday's origin got screwed, he looked like a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle and not the least bit threatening. Plus trying to fit in Doomsday was just a stupid move and one that had no place at all with the rest of the movie.
Sorry, rant over.
But... the LotR picture is clearly from the battle at Helm’s Deep, that’s not even from the right book/film if we’re talking about final battles in each franchise.
I thought we agreed not to talk about this.
"I'm kicking my own ass!"
What about a fight against emotions and feelings? Gotta go deeper
