I’m no expert, but I don’t think these are the responses a potential employer is looking for
@nemestrinus , that and you can lie on a resume, but if you put falsified info on the forms they make you fill out, the employer can take legal action against you.
@nemestrinus , maybe, but I would hire. That guy doesn't waste time.
@MrLogg, the fact that he uses u instead of you makes me think he's not corporate material
@Kol101, confirmed. in the UK at least, this is classed as falsification of personal details and if you get found out, it's gross misconduct and likely dismissal. If it's in a CV, it's not an official doc, so no blowback
@MrLogg, unfortunately, it wouldn’t make it past the robot algorithm to get to your desk.
@nemestrinus , I’m in an interview right now after doing this soooooo.....
@Kol101, is that right?... 😒 hmmm be right back
Med schools don’t want resumes. They only want you to list 15 things you did and write up to 600 characters about them. My friend had 10 jobs through college. She had to list them all as a single activity. They receive your transcripts directly from your college, but you have to input all of your classes in boxes/dropdown menus for them to check.
I felt like doing this the whole time.
This shjt pisses me off.
Why are you even looking here? The comment is in my resume!
Companies use these answers to filter applicants based on qualifications. The hiring manager will use your resume, but by not answering they will never see it because when they search their applicant database for ppl with whatever qualifications they need, "It's in my resume" won't meet the search criteria.
Yes these suck, but if you want the job, fill them out.
Gosh so true and then some company’s websites are just straight garbage too to ad to the fristrstion
@Ultramatt, as someone who has been actively looking for a new job for the past two years I can’t recall how many times I rage quit answering a resume because of these systems. Some of the best ones have a portal with your account info and it always resents the same information.
you*, ?*. That doesn't help you. Especially in the education section.
Deserves a evil Patrick
You dense motherf*cker...
I despise these online resume systems, why the hell does it upload it and I am required to fill it out individually?? Especially my@work history and what I did?!?
