People have been burning each other at the stake, genociding, warring, etc for centuries. People just suck.
@Burt Reynolds, true dat.
@Burt Reynolds, yeah but all those people played call of duty, checkmate
@Bloodthirsty Penguin, “That fvcking Jew quickscoped me!” - Adolf Hitler 1918
@Burt Reynolds, can you tell that to my gf? She thinks she doesn’t have to suck
@BigJohnson86, She’s right, she doesn’t.
Oh look it's the 90's again. What was the point of all that money spent to prove it doesn't if we are going to do it all over again. Maybe someone will figure out humans have been offing each other since the beginning.
@Kandros, the guy sites some study that says when people play video games their heart rate rises and it has an effect on their physical being. Like no shît that’s the point. So does jogging but it doesn’t turn people homicidal. It’s always these people who have nothing to do with games that want to comment about it. They will say that playing call of duty is training for being able to perform a mass shooting. And having played many games and shooting many guns, that has not an ounce of truth.
@Kandros, welcome to democracy 101, keep revoting till they get the result they want.
Nothing else quells these terrible urges like a round of nintendogs
She looks like she just said something super dumb with a ton of confidence and he's just like "is this bitch serious?"
@Lellow0079, that might be the joke, not sure
@Lellow0079, I saw it. The dude on the left is actually the complete fücking loony and Ben Shapiro is the only reasonable person there.
@Doctor Krieger that’s wierd I always thought Ben Shapiro was the one universal punchline
@Doctor Krieger, huh alrighty then.
@liberachi , hey, nice downvote.
I guess the idea that the stats show that violence in children has gone down with the rise of violent video games and that a legislative solution isn't called for is disagreeable to you?
The dude on the left wants violent video games banned altogether, mind you.
@liberachi , Sees username - well of course you’re going to think that aren’t you.
Here's the problem... It's Fox news.
@Saxman21, don't worry. Ben Shapiro will destroy all of them.
@Saxman21, oh no you got a down vote. Don't worry I will draw the idiots to me.... It's called fake news... 😀
@Saxman21, actually this was a discussion based on an article done by CNN
@The nOly One, even still. They are discussing a subject thats false. So... fake news
@Seohn, it's not fake news if they're only discussing it. That's why you have different people with different views. It's basically a debate and not them stating facts.
@Cowpoop, Shapiro is the man
@mcgriddle, but there isn't much to debate here. Hundreds of studies have found zero connection between videogames and violence. It's like debating that vaccines cause autism, it's pointless.
@Saxman21, the segment was actually challenging the notion of the link between video games and violence, not propagating it. Context matters, buddy.
@WhoseLineIsItAnyway, I just never have trusted Fox news. My own opinion. :)
@Saxman21, you’re welcome to have that opinion. Don’t take any news organizations at face value, though. Be it Fox or CNN or any of them. They all have an agenda to push. Some are more nefarious than others.
@mcgriddle, so its not fake news because its a “debate” on Fox? That seems to be the consensus lately. If I had made the same joke about CNN. Would it have had the same number of down votes and upvotes?
I made the joke because they are wasting time discussing a subject thats not true. Kind of like how they get all upset when other news stations discuss subjects they believe are false. Then label it fake news. I was playing on the hypocrisy.
If someone cant apply the same line of thought and standard to every news station. Then perhaps its time to step back and do some self reflecting.
@Seohn, That’s where you’re clearly missing the point though.
The whole “fake news” has come from stations stating something as a fact, when it clearly isn’t - often doing so deliberately (the trump-russia collaboration comes to mind). There’s nothing wrong with discussing something nor with people giving their opinions as opinions. It’s different when people are giving opinions/rumours as if they are indisputable facts
Look at Ben
Hey guys, thought I'd give the scientific perspective. Video games have no links to murder or anything of the sort, but research has shown that young impressionable kids do behave more aggressively as a result of playing violent video games. So any normal functioning adult will not commit violent acts because video games, but little Jimmy might punch someone because he thinks action is cool.
Blame everything but the actual problem
I’m i the only one to notice the huge hitman reference on the bottom of the image???
Where is funny?
@Ewok612, it’s Fox News, it’s always funny
Is that Putin's special cousin on the left?
In short yes they do. But in reality there is some reasoning behind it. Truly the only people it makes more violent are those of us who experience violence in the home is normalized and not frowned upon.

@ReeseBobby, Talked in class with my sociology teacher who is a psychologist by trade.
@HiGuyz1, [Citation Taken Into Consideration, Thanks]
@HiGuyz1, ahh but did your teacher also take into consideration the people with violent tendencies who vent that frustration out through games? Because thats also a thing. Look at the government violent crime data then compare release dates of games like GTA. You’ll see a drop in violent crime.
I had even once heard there was a decline in car jacking. But Its been so long since I read that article I’m not even sure what site I saw it on.
@Seohn, it's less about violent tendencies and more about people who are taught that it's okay to physically hurt others. He went very deep into how it's a way for a large part of the population to let off steam.
That dude on the right is cool beans.
Im violent towards my german prostitute.
My favorite part of this picture is that they usually have two opposing experts on the topic on at the same time to debate, and you can see both of them are looking at her like she's an idiot. Unite against a common idioticness.
Also, the dude on the right, Ben Shapiro, is basically arguing against the other two using data and reason. The dude on the left was infuriatingly stupid.
