Sitting in McDonald's doesn't make you a Big Mac and sitting in a pew doesn't make you religious.
@DividedAlliance, I see your point.. but sitting in a pew is part of being religious for some people, so I mean.. yea it does. You’ve made a parallel between 2 totally separate and unequal concepts. Im not even religious and I can tell you that
@The Common Shaman, nah dawg, I'll say it another way.
So if I lived in a college town and went to campus every day, sat in lecture halls, ate at the dining halls, on the outside it would appear that I was a student. I could bring a backpack, laptop, pencils, take notes, the whole 9 yards, but if I don't take the step to enroll, then I'm not ACTUALLY a student.
Same thing with church. Just by being there you're not a religious person. You may do all the same things that they do, but if you haven't had an internal change in heart, mind, and spirit, you're not truly following that path. Does that make more sense?
@DividedAlliance, sitting on a dick doesn’t make you gay.
@Yusuke Urameshi, good, I'd hate to think that ALL of my exes were gay
@DividedAlliance, why you had so many guys sitting on your dīck?
@TR8R, I'm a hedonist, to piss off my father, just for the lulz, I needed to make rent... there's plenty of reasons, take your pick
@DividedAlliance, that is absolutely accurate mang. But your first statement was eh. I have family who are religious and go to mass and it all depends on the individual. To generalize and say that people who sit in pews aren’t religious just for that is just as ignorant as believing that you’re religious just for doing that, is all I’m trying to say
@DividedAlliance, Yeah, I would have gone with "sitting in a McDonald's doesn't make you fat. You gotta grab that BigMac, yeah both hands, like that, shove it in your hole. open wide, bitch, yeah get it in there, all of it, yeah you dirty slut." However, you've definitely made valid points on which I agree.
@Yusuke Urameshi, IT WAS ONE TIME JOSH
@DividedAlliance, where you’re wrong is using the phrase “religious”. Going to church doesn’t make you a good person, but it does make you “religious”. Being religious doesn’t make you good either. I know many religious people who are horrible. They judge others and are huge hypocrites, but they say grace and go to church. When someone says to me, “are you religious?” I say no, but I do love Jesus. I live my life for him. But you won’t catch me tooting my religious horn.
They hate him for he spoke the truth.
@Sam da ram, It's funny cause He actually did say stuff like this
People still think this? Im religious and don’t think this, in fact, I know some church goers who arent the best imo
Listen to God's Perspective by Bo Burnham. It's funny as hell and makes some very valid points that you aren't a good person just because you're a highly religious person.
Neither does strip club but at least you can make it a good time.
In the same way! Being a good person does not make you pure and accepted in the eyes of God 😊 (relevant per religion obviously)
There. Now we're all off our high horses and feeling a bit more humbled amongst one another aren't we
