But the gamecube controller was the best
@Spess mehrens, yes but ps4 is a contender
@Spess mehrens, my parents got us those wireless wavebird controllers.
@Spess mehrens, fact!!
@Spess mehrens, I have four wave bird controllers for my GameCube. Yes I am a baller.
Xbox 360 had the perfect controller
@Pvt BB Ghanoush, it still does.
Because I am too broke to buy a new console
@Pvt BB Ghanoush, I personally like the xbox one elite controller. Those paddles are amazing
@Pvt BB Ghanoush, Xbox one took what was perfect about the 360 controller and made it better.
@ThatGuyYouKnow, also the feel of the rubber sides and the thumb sticks. Man what a great controller
@magrar, yeah, only if you have huge hands.
@wiseheadlesschicken, really? I thought that it would work better for smaller hands than 360. Who knows maybe I have huge hands, but with my hand size it definitely the best controller out there
@magrar, I've got very large hands and while I like the thumbstick orientation on the Xbox One controllers I prefer the DS4 instead because of the overall size of the controller
@Aaron Leibowitz, is that the ps4 controller?
@magrar, yeah. Thats actually how I made my decision on first new gen console
@Aaron Leibowitz, that's interesting, honestly for me the controller was one of the main reasons I chose the Xbox one
@Aaron Leibowitz, I prefer the button layout and I think the shape is better for use compared to the ps4
@magrar, the button layout wasn't too big of a concern for me because I was used to both layouts. The shape of the XB1 controller is definitely nicer but its cramped with larger hands. On the DS4 your hands are farther apart so for me it was more comfortable. Also the trigger buttons on the DS4 I prefer
@Aaron Leibowitz, part of button layout included the triggers which i like a lot more on the Xbox controller. Also I preferred the Xbox one controllers width to the ps4, it sort of feels like a more balanced shape compared to the ps4 which is too wide vs it's height. But I think I have pretty medium sized hands so I might not have the problem you do with size
@magrar, yeah the shape of the Xbox one controller is a much smarter shape for a controller
@ThatGuyYouKnow, massive coincidence, you posted this comment when I was planning on buying one and deciding whether or not to do it because of the price. I thought If it's £50 for a regular one I may as well get the elite. Its better than a scuf in literally every way besides being able to change the colours and design with scuf. Besides that, the elite controller wins in every way and is cheaper. Turns out no where sells new elite controllers atm because Microsoft stopped producing them due to a defect where something like the rubber on the back keeps peeling off. So they are fixing the problems and releasing a newer version somewhat in the future. But anyway after deciding for 30 mins and finally going to go through with it that bomb gets dropped on me. Not any preowned ones around right now either, and there's only a £20 difference between preowned and new so I was gonna get new so rip. I can still probably get one online or a preowned one in some other store but I was going to +
@ThatGuyYouKnow, + get a 2 year care plan with it just incase something happens to it spontaneously. Only because my current controller which I got last month with my xbonex is playing up, the right stick is still stiff and fine and normal and centred but for some reason on all games it's as if it's being pushed to one side quite significantly, and not in the sense of having loose sticks and it will move a little bit, it's as if someone is just pushing the stick half way to one side and I have no idea why it's like it because it was fine the day before. Anyway that's why I was going to get the plan for this one because its an expensive controller and I'm not going to have some random problem happen to it and then be stuck
@Jipz, that's unfortunate, I must not be hard on controllers, I have the controller from initial release xbox one that still works great, and I haven't had an issue with my elite in the 1 1/2 years I've had it
@ThatGuyYouKnow, the only way I can really get one now is if I get it online from like amazon or ebay or something or trying to find a store with a preowned one :/
@Quarry77,since my baby left me*
@MercBenzodiazepine, I banged a goat and the zoo fired me
Anyone else remember fighting their siblings over the N64? Good times.
"Well yea we've made the perfect controller!" (Ok i might be really salty about this, but still) The PS4 controller sucks åss compared to the XBox controller. Remember when the two consoles came out, and review critically panned the PS4 controller for being clunky and small, while claiming that the XBox One controller to be the "best controller ever."
@Brimstonebellosom, They meant the first PlayStation (PS1) which pioneered the ergonomic controllers we have today. But yes Xbox had the best controller but I'd say 360.
@Brimstonebellosom, I've always hated the PlayStation controllers, they have never felt right in my hands ever. But with modern day xbox controllers, those luscious cruves fill out my hands every time. 😏
"we will we've made the perfect controller"
And when I bought my xbonex half way through January, I had to return it because it was messing up, was getting the screen flickering with black and lagging stupid bad so I had to replace my. Xbox one x after a week. Of having it - _- did some research and apparently that is quite a common problem. With the xbonex, luckily this replacement one I have seems to be fine and has been good for the last month/month and a half.
PC- let's give everyone enough buttons for any game
I'll stick with the keyboard and mouse.
Except the xbox controller was based of the gamecube one
I disagree, I personally find the current Xbox controllers to be the best and most comfortable, and I have never liked any of the PlayStation controllers.
Keyboards for the win! Has not changed since the advent of the typewriter.
I still think my dick feels the most natural in the hands
