*star spangled banner plays*
@Captain3rdWheel, *nobody kneels* 🇺🇸
@Donald Trump, *one person kneels because they are frustrated with our country's current problem with racial violence and want to bring attention to it, but also wants to show that they still respect this country and the people who fight for it*
@Depressed Panda, dude complains about white privilege as he cashes his million dollar paycheck signed by white men.
@Captain3rdWheel, *eagle screeches in the distance🦅🦅🦅🦅*
@mycatsanahole, dude implies being paid by white people and having the salary of an average sports star means you aren't allowed to talk about the racial divide in america.
Seriously though, why do people have such a problem with someone doing a simple, respectful, nonviolent protest?
@Depressed Panda, because people are too ignorant to see certain things around them and choose not to believe it when someone who has a voice says it’s still around
@Depressed Panda, what does kneeling to bring attention to racial violence have to do with the national anthem, which is a sign of respect for those in the army, navy, Air Force, and other parts of the military
@The Real Grim Reaper, he's disappointed and frustrated with the state of our country. A lot of conservative commentators have made it out like he's spitting on our soldiers, but he used to only sit and he decided to kneel instead when a friend of his (a army serviceman) suggested that as a way to still show respect for our armed forces.
Being born and raised in the UK I have very little knowledge of American history - as such I am now taking his as exactly how it happened, jets, eagles and all
@2807Ollie, as someone else born and raised in the UK, I feel we were probably far more upset about the wasted tea.
I pretty sure it involed a bit more death
@gocol, Nope this was exactly how it happened
He quickly evolved in that one frame
I’m pretty sure one of the presidents hid like the coward he was while England burnt down the White House... and then the president later blamed it on the weather
@thedarkjester, it was James Madison
@thedarkjester, wrong war
