@FP Waiter, no, the teacher said not "Revenant", as in the Leo DiCaprio movie. This is because the revenant was able to pull himself out of his own grave, while Houdini (who tried this in 1915, not 1917) was unsuccessful and had to be pulled unconscious from his "grave" by his assistants
