Get that high proof maple syrup.
@BearDaniels, i know you are joking but they do sell maple syrup flavored alcohol
@PunnyBaker, best rum I ever had was actually some cane sugar rum from Belize it smelled and tasted like maple!
False, only the Beer store & Grocery stores can sell beer in Canada, not this random shop. Also we don’t drink the water being advertised on the window. EDIT: Ok so it’s just Ontario, BUT we still don’t drink water
@Click to toggle, Liquor stores can’t sell beer?
@North, Nope, only government. And recently large grocery stores chains
@Click to toggle, what? Maybe in the other provinces it a provincial thing but in Alberta, it’s all private business. And in Newfoundland, you can even find beer in convenience stores.
@prxjxct, Must be an Ontario thing then
@Click to toggle, It's a provincial thing, in Ontario only some grocery stores, the beer store, and the lcbo (liquor control board of Ontario) can sell alcohol
@Click to toggle, Saskatchewan also has offsales (like this) and liquor board stores
@Click to toggle, well in BC grocery stores only sell non -alcoholic beer and only recently have a wine section. And whether its a government run liquor store or private, they all sell everything.
@Click to toggle, we usually just make our own here in BC
@Click to toggle, here in bc mainly the lower mainland. It’s government store or private. Our grocery stores don’t have alcohol. If they do they’re far away from a liquor store.
@X088, this is true, I’m pretty sure this liquor store is by my house in Coquitlam on Schoolhouse Ave
@Click to toggle, where does the LCBO (liquor control board of Ontario) come in then?
