Well how are you gonna cut it if you dont use a pattern you can't slide your mower across there willy nilly and expect an even cut
@Joseph The Broseph, anyone doing it any other way is just wrong
I love sending these things to my dad he loves them
I go back and forward and then go over it a second time at a 45° angle.
My yard is pretty long, so I use a simple forward and back pattern that leaves a real nice striping along it to really showcase its size. You gotta cut in a pattern!
@Commander Peanuts, my yard is oddly shaped, so I cut along the whole perimeter and just keep repeating inward, like a yard-shaped spiral. It looks really cool while in progress, because I get like a smaller outline of my yard.
@Commander Peanuts, when my dad made me do it as a kid, id do it in a circular pattern starting with the outline of everything and eventually working my way to the middle
@Scuzzinator, a tried and true classic. I used to do the same but my yard is a bit too oddly shaped so I ended up with a weird bean in the middle.
@Scuzzinator, I cut mine in a very similar manner as well
@Scuzzinator, that’s funny. I do the same thing.
