She is very pretty.
@The Tower Of Pimps, What kind of creepy response is that. Is that really the only thing you have to say about that?
@Awesome Naked Taco, so what, i can’t give compliments now without getting lambasted by you?
@The Tower Of Pimps, It's on the line with 'Dad commenting on daughter's friends' appearance and/or breast size' and 'Randomly complimenting the looks of pretty girls'.
It just sounds creepy unless you're the type of person who compliments everyone.
It's not the compliment, it's the context.
She won't see your comment ever, nor did anyone ask what you thought of her looks, so just blurting out that she is pretty isn't really appropriate. I am not whiteknighting the girl, it just sounds creepy stating that someone is pretty unless you were asked or you know the person or they've dressed up nicely, and even then you should go with "You look very pretty tonight" or "I really like your dress" and not "You are very pretty". Rant over, I hope you understand what I mean
@Awesome Naked Taco, no i don’t know what you mean. Quite frankly, I’m surprised that you took a four-word comment to such an extreme. So it’s a crime to compliment a girl nowadays UNLESS they asked, know them or dress nicely? If that’s the case, no one should compliment anyone then with that logic.
@The Tower Of Pimps, "Shes very pretty" is pretty innocent among the crap I've seen people say about random chicks online. I do cringe when I see comments like that tho, idk it just reminds me of creeps I've dealt with
@ChocoboPizzacat, so what, are we not allowed to give compliments anymore?
@The Tower Of Pimps, are you telling chicks they look nice then trying to get them to go home with you while they're out with their friend and refusing to leave them alone?going so far as to follow them around a mall and saying you'll pay them both to suck you off? Or tell a chick how great her tits look and that youd love to get a better view of them at your place? No? None of that?then you're good. Probably. If you can see they're uncomfortable and trying to get away from you leave em be lol
@The Tower Of Pimps, It's not a compliment, like a compliment is supposed to be. You didn't compliment anything she did or worked hard for. You didn't compliment an achievement. From those four words you could have just as easily been a neckbeard or a "show bobs and vagene" guy who thinks a compliment like that will make her day. As Choco said, it makes me cringe too.
To clarify, I never said there was anything wrong with you, I never said you did something wrong. I merely pointed out that your compliment sounded a bit creepy, to me at least. I think, had you formulated the compliment differently, it could have been perfectly fine. I do agree that she is pretty, there is just something about way "She is very pretty" sounds that makes it creepy or dumb to me. Say the sentence in Forest Gump's voice, but it's not Forest Gump saying it, it's that geek from that movie.
You can give all the compliments you want, just don't expect overly positive reactions to "You are very pretty.".
@Awesome Naked Taco, that's not creepy. It's a nice compliment. And she really is very pretty.
@The Tower Of Pimps, I'm sorry we live in a world where people "cringe" at seemingly innocent comments. The meme world has ruined that word for me btw. Just accept the fact that everyone takes offense to everything nowadays. #metoo #kidsthesedays #responsestothiscommentissoCRINGE
@Awesome Naked Taco, damn you are retarded......
@Awesome Naked Taco, so let me get this straight: in order for a person to complement another person they must have either asked, must know them, dress nicely or work hard? Do you not know what a compliment is?
So by your logic, if I see a girl on the street who looks very pretty, instead of complimenting her, I have to keep it to myself and just walk away because I didn’t meet the aforementioned criteria? I’m just trying to see if I correctly understood your logic.
@Awesome Naked Taco, you think she doesn’t work hard to look that good? Just because you don’t think it’s important doesn’t make it easy. I’ve never met someone like that that doesn’t work hard to be that level of attractive. They all followed strict diets and exercise regimens and spend tons of money on products and clothes to look perfect. I’m not willing to match their commitment so I won’t ever look as good.
@Awesome Naked Taco, you keep on being ridiculously offended for extremely minor things as soon as it’s related to anything slightly sexual. Get a reality check and stop pretending to be holier-than-thou, you damn hypocrite.
Your responses and comments are creepier than anything in the comments or pictures you post them at. It’s creepy how much of a self-righteous, hypocritical feminazi you are. Urgh.
@Awesome Naked Taco, you’ve taken this way too far. Have a Magnum, it’s sunny
@Unkle77, Thanks. I needed a chill.
That was a whirlwind of emotions right there.
@PottedPlant, Whew! I don’t even know how to feel right now
Jokes on him she was a trap the whole time
Man, Bollywood really romanticizes catcalling. I know he was just trying to return her property but I feel like this extensive following is pretty prevalent in Bollywood films. At least for the ones I’ve seen.
@Baby Jesus, It's an "Art" form
So, does she want the wallet or not...
On the topic of Bollywood, are their movies any good? I know the action movies are pure gold in their ridiculousness, but what about the other genres?
@Ashoka02Tano, theyre pretty good, very long and somewhat predictable, but lovable for their amazing choreography and music
I kept thinking it was going to be some version of that guy who shows up when someone is being mugged and then controls their body using voodoo-funk in order to backhand the attacker, through the victim.
Damn she's hot
I wish i was as ripped as him
