A creature that terrible? Must be from Australia
@InsaneWorm, tis indeed
@InsaneWorm, it is and it's called the Box Jelly fish
@Bonersaurus, while they strictly are part of the Box Jellyfish family, I think to call it that would be misleading. These are called irukandji. If you just say box jellyfish in Australia, we normally mean something otherwise known as a "Sea Wasp", which can be huge (see: 3m stingers while hunting), and while lacking the dread associated with its tiny friend, is altogether much more lethal 👍🏻
So... is that “and” driving anyone else crazy. I feel like I’ve been stung by that jelly.
@Canis Arktos, yes. Very much so.
2weeks? Pfft I live in a constant state of perpetual dread and constant beration of depressing life events that leave me a empty shallow husk with crippling anxiety. Being stung by that would be a cake walk.
@kdogzzs, you’d probably give depression to the jellyfish.
Jelly fish sting that gives you a 2 week panic attack? Nope I’d die.
@BearDaniels, if you survive the brain haemorrhaging
why did you put my ex in this lil bottle ?
Ok, this headline is slightly misleading; as if getting stung just sends you into deep and negative introspection. No, it causes severe pain, extreme muscle cramping, vomiting, shortness of breath, excessive sweating, AND deep and negative introspection. Don't you feel safer now, knowing the whole truth?
A relative of the despair squid perhaps?
@volence, that’s what I was thinking at first.
Now I know where grant and naylor got the idea. Possibly.
No, that‘s just called „life“.
