I used to have a homeless guy come into the last place i worked just to get water. He was always polite and his dog sat outside wearing his sunglasses while the guy was inside. The guy always put the dog above himself making sure he was taken care of. Only one day i think he got put in jail for the night and they took his dog. He was never the same after.
@A Math Dealer, thats pretty fvcked up
@A Math Dealer, your comment hit me right in the feels man. Mah heart my soul
@A Math Dealer, what a bunch of heroes, putting a homeless man in jail. They probably feared for their lives and shot the dog.
@The 911 Masturbator, I know it's a joke but.d my fragile heart can't take this beating :c
@A Math Dealer, *john wick intensifies*
@The 911 Masturbator, no, he was probably a chronic problem for a business and the cops did what they were supposed to do. It's not heroic, but sometimes things like that have to be done
@A Math Dealer, I was hoping for a happy ending. I was disappointed
@RogueKnight, we usually didnt have any issues with him but the area has a pretty serious homeless problem. Honestly he could've done something small probably but it's just sad about the dog.
@A Math Dealer, usually those dogs aren't up on their shots, etc... And hopefully it went to a shelter and was adopted out.
The homeless are very attached to their pets. Which I get. Most of the time I prefer speeding time with dogs over people... Dogs are more trustworthy and loyal than many people I have met.
@RogueKnight, it was the most well behaved dog I've ever seen though. It paid no attention to anyone walking by and just sat there waiting for the guy.
@A Math Dealer, and as soon as someone antagonized it and it bit someone, lawsuits would fly against the city and the PD for never addressing such a "vicious" animal and hazard to society...
@A Math Dealer, not saying I don't feel bad for the guy, or the dog, but as you know, reality isn't always warm and fuzzy. Cops do things they don't want to do all the time but have to because of complaints and liability issues.
@A Math Dealer, taking a man’s dog is unacceptable and is punishable. The punishment is: death. So, in the end I’m happy
I like to think the puppers look to us as best friends ... because my puppy is certainly my best friend.
