Fvck you Apple
@ TouchMyCatEars, yes fvck them right in the Apple hole.
@ TouchMyCatEars, *doesn't buy apple products*
@ TouchMyCatEars, "Fvck you." -Apple
Ik this sounds bad. But I'm actually really interested in the iphone x, only because that like apple connective feature for other iPhones and devices, so like texting, calling, facetime, it's all free. I may switch only cause my gf travels so much. Just a thought.
But in all other cases, android master race

Buy an android. Be less poor
@Nudity Industries, you know, it is slowly pushing me towards android.
Apple doesn’t manufacture or sell anything like this stupid accessory
Android phones haven't had a home button for years and we good
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, it's not just the home button. On the X's (or others too I dunno) you cant charge your phone and have an aux cord plugged in at the same time bc they use the same port. An adapter plugs into the charging port with an aux jack at the other end. Dumbest shjt ever.
@Not him again, and you knew this prior to buying the phone?
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, oh hell no I dont have one. I have an S8 plus. My friend has an X and I give her shjt about this all the time
@Not him again, my man 🤜 also have an s8 plus. Easily the best phone I ever had and I was once a iPhone user, then I grew up
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, I had a 3Gs. It was my first smartphone. I got drunk and lost it at the bar and had android ever since
@Not him again, same here, then a 4s and was tired of getting excited about new features only to have Android friends tell me that's old on their phone. Plus everything has to be Apple's way or the highway. Will never go back
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, how do you get home? I have an s7, so android guy, just not up to date
@Scottles, it's on the screen. Or swipe up from bottom. More screen space and it never fails
@Scottles, if you swipe down from the top or up from the bottom it displays the "buttons". You can also hard press where the home button is and it will bring all that stuff up too. It all disappears when not activated, unlike the X, where the black bar is always there (I just asked my friend).
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, I'm a little attached to real buttons...
@Scottles, buttons break. A lot sooner than screens at least
@Scottles, I just got the iPhone XS. And while I was used to the home button on my iPhone 5s (day one release) which is what I upgraded from. I am quite liking the fact that I can wake my phone up by simply tapping the screen on the XS. That’s pretty much your home button on it, the whole screen. Well also the side button if you want to activate Siri. But Siri can be always on if you enable that. Also simply picking the phone up activates the screen and unless you disable it like I did. Because I didn’t like the screen coming on just by picking it up. If i want to wake my phone tapping the screen is simple enough.
@Not him again, The black bar on my iPhone XS isnt there on every App. Just depends on the app. There’s really no reason for that bar to be there in the apps that do have it. As the swipe up from the bottom jester is always active.
Getting back to the home screen is really simple. If you quickly swipe up from the bottom. It’s scrolls through all the pages until you’re back at the home screen. To activate the screen is a simple tap anywhere on the screen. It was odd at first. As my old phone was the iPhone 5s. But so much better now that I’m used to it.
@Seohn, yeah hers goes away on some apps, I just really don't care for how you have to swipe up because it always seems like i miss it and end up pressing whatever is near the bottom. Then again I dont use her phone too often.
The side button thing annoys me though on my own phone. For you its siri, for me its bixby, which is kind of like siri, but it's also a program, so if i accidentally hit it while I'm putting it in my pocket, it will activate and start doing all this crap while it's in my pocket. I never use it (and wouldn't use siri either tbh). Its possible theres a way to turn it off, I just haven't spent much time trying to find it
@Not him again, I’ve not had any problems with the swipe up yet. But my phone is in a case that, although it has a lip to protect the screen. It doesn’t extend over the screen any and therefor I can tell Im at the bottom if the screen every time.
I say that because I’ve heard some phone cases make it hard to do the swipe up. And putting your finger on the bottom of the phone and swiping up when there is no case on it should be as simple as feeling the edge of the phone. You just need to get use to it if thats the problem. It all becomes habit after a while. So no worried on that.
However a large Otterbox like case case that covers the edges a little. I can definitely see that as something that would be difficult to get use to and hitting other buttons a lot.
I did like having a button on the bottom. Like in my old phone I just got so used to it. But I’m getting used to this now. It’s just fast as the home button.
I’m quite fine not having the headphone jack. While it is nice to have if I am in a car with somebody that doesn’t have Bluetooth. I don’t even use headphones with a wire anymore. Between my Motorola Flex Bluetooth headset which you can pretty much do parkour while wearing and won’t fall off your head and sounds great. And my Bluetooth car stereo. The headphone jack is useless to me.
I do like android phones. But I also like iPhones. I’m not a fan of Apple’s business practices or marketing tactics. But I like my phone it fits my needs. I also like the pictures the iPhone XS takes. They are phenomenal pictures. Of course my iPhone 5S took really good pictures too. But this is even better.
There are pros and cons to both devices android and iPhone. One such difference is. Android tends to have a lot more third-party software. Or what I like to call utility software. Apple tends to have more brand-name software I like to use Hasbro board games as an example.
@Seohn, which is why I maintain the best of both worlds. I have my iPhone and I have a Kindle. iPhone for pictures and specific apps. And the Kindle covers Android (since that’s what it runs on and you can sideload third-party apps) Plus since it’s a Kindle I’ve got access to the Amazon stuff.
@Seohn, which one (Apple or Android) makes you do better parkour in?
@Diabolik, neither one make you any better at parkour. Either can or can’t do it. And in my case I can’t. But I just use that as an example because I’ve worn those headsets while jogging. And of trying to get them to fall off. I use the park or example because that’s what’s in the video if you look up the Motorola flex headsets.
As a computer science major focusing in on cybersecurity, Android is the most unsecure OS ever and I wouldn’t be caught dead with it
Imagine if EA did this. You would have to buy each component inside and out.. one by one and assemble it yourself
@Tis but a scratch, they don’t already
@Tis but a scratch, ikea better not talk to EA
I'm completely happy with my iPhone se which has a headphone jack.
@Baltowolf12, The SE is still plenty fast for me. I like the size but could care less about the headphone jack
@Horse Lime, for me. I like having the headphone jack. I’ll eventually have to let it go since the SE is discontinued now.
Hello we’re going to make a new phone, and it’s going to be more expensive. And even better slowly become a rock. Yes the people who buy our products are so stupid they’ll microwave them, this is your punishment.
The solution should be free. Friggin appholes
