Im a huge horror movie fan and it’s super rare that I get scared by the stories or jumpscarea, but for some reason I don’t like haunted houses. Maybe it’s the aspect of the possibility that someone in there could actually try to kill me or maybe it’s cuz im a lil bítch
@K1l, see, I’m kinda weird. I don’t react to much, and haunted houses are no exception. Like, I enjoy them, and love going to them, but if I react at all, it’s probably gonna be laughter.
@Berntley, Yeah I get that. Most haunted houses are just pretty silly, it’s the ones that are pitch black and people grab you. I always feel like I would reflexively punch someone lol.
@K1l, I laugh at them but I always go at the front of the line and usually the actors dont see me in time so they go after the people behind me who think they're safe in the middle.
@K1l, Gotta watch out. Some of them employ kids, cuz they’re creepier, and cheaper. Last time I got to go to any haunted houses was at the local theme park. They do a big Halloween thing each year, and have about thirteen haunted houses on site. We bought fast passes that applied to, I think, about eight of them. We also had skeleton key passes, which applied to five of them, and was basically like real life DLC, where you had to do an extra challenge to get through. Shît was awesome.
@K1l, I work on a haunted trail and we're not allowed to touch the customers, we're pretty good if I do say so myself (I just got out at midnight we had a thousand pre-sale tickets today)
@K1l, I love horror movies but I am the biggest chicken in real life situations, door closes by itself and I'm out, not today ghosts!
@K1l, I'm a lil b!tch
@K1l, I went to a place like this only last night. I didn’t get scared either because I knew the staff aren’t allowed to touch visitors. There were some of them running around with loud chainsaws. It’s really hard for me to get scared by movies or staged situations.
I still love scary movies for some reason 😊
If you know of a movie that will really scare me, I’m open to suggestions. I prefer supernatural/paranormal/exorcisms themes 😊
@DeathAwaits, Have you seen The Fourth Kind? I remember that being scary. But it’s also been a while... may not have aged well
@K1l, I allways found it the scariest because I knew they were just normal people, and there was nothing I can do but take it, and I couldn't defend myself ie punch them, so forced to be vulnerable. Idk if that makes sense
@K1l, I love actual horror, but I've never liked jump scares. Just feels like a cheap way to make a movie "scary." It's the difference between Resident Evil games vs Silent Hill. I just haven't found a haunted attraction that was anything other than jump scares, so I don't bother anymore
@K1l, as someone with a lifetime ban from fright fest I feel you. Apparently kicking a clowns nuts into his throat is not allowed.
@K1l, I’m thinking of opening a horror themed Pizza shop. Is that a good idea?
@InsaneWorm, don’t know if it helps but I was at a haunted house a few years back (i don’t go to the often because they are either not scary and disappointing... or they are scary and why would I do that to myself?) anyway, I went to one that started off unimpressive and as we were walking down I heard this guy screaming “Hahahah! I’m gonna rip your face off.” And the thing of it was, I couldn’t quite here where he was but... I believed it. They were shouting all sorts of stupid crap at us and yeah, fine, whatever. That one voice in the crowd... I believed him. He felt it when he said it... I think that was my favorite moment in a haunted house. Just unsettling enough without me thinking too much about the “no touching rule”.
@Canis Arktos, my role is a deranged pumpkin carver so I usually say to people, "I'll carve a smile on that face of yours," "I'll carve your eyes out and pin them to my wall," or "I'll dig my blade deep into your flesh, peal your skin off and let the blood drain from your face as your screams echo throughout this forest" I say that last one for big groups
@Pandaren Brewmaster, yes seen it... I still want something scarier 😊
@K1l, I’m the complete opposite, love haunted houses but hate scary movies!
@K1l, OR MAYBE ITS CAUSE UR A LIL BITC.... oh... nvm
Im the worst at these because i stare down the people and dont react and so i have had a couple even back off because i just stared at them.
For the sight impaired, a lot of Blacks (and others) screaming in fear from a scary, spooky, haunted house thingy. Your welcome.
@Redj350Z, You’ve done a great service to anyone who can’t see, but has a phone that can translate into Braille.
I went to Blackpool tower the other day and that dungeon thing was lame!! Like genuinely boring! And not in an oh look im not scared of scary things kind of way but in a genuinely this is a waste of time and money kind of way! I can however say that actors talking to me directly and being in a crowd of people in a cramped room was genuinely torturous.
Now someone put Mr. Blue Sky or something similar over this!
I went to Alton towers frightfest and they had loads of live attractions, to their credit it was fűcking cool but when I was in a haunted maze I slipped on a plastic bag on the floor to which a woman dressed as a ghost popped out and whispers "mind the step"
I love haunted houses. Not too much of a fan for the ones with real dead bodies for the props though.
Best one was the dude who ran a marathon while he was laying on the ground.
I hate/love going next to black people in horror houses. They freak out so easily and loudly.
Just went to halloween horror nights Orlando, best haunted house there was Halloween and Seeds. Screamed like the bi tch I am lol
