@Eddie Vedder, there is a setting in chrome now that asks you to give it permission to scan your computer for "malware" and send the reports back to Google.

@Eddie Vedder, yeah I found it while running some routine maintenance on the wifey's laptop. I don't even have chrome loaded on my main computer. Haha.

I would be very concerned if my web browser was running security monitoring on my OS.
