But seriously- anyone, red or blue, who votes for a single party ticket on principle without researching candidates is a problem
@Captain Anderson, all R straight down baby
@Captain Anderson, I’m a little guilty of this. I vote the low end of the ticket all red but I at least look up the big ticket guys. I voted for 2 libertarian guys cuz the dems and gop both trotted out turd buckets
@Richard Cypher, xoxo
@Captain Anderson, I researched them all and still aligned with one party soo single party ticket for me.
@Zigz, no problem with that, at least you were informed, thank you for voting
@Captain Anderson, When I seize power, all ballots will be void of party affiliations or incumbent status.
And then when you cast your ballot, you will be fed to the lions for daring to challenge my reign.
@A Deformed Penis, you’ve got my vote
Cthulhu 2020. Why vote for the lesser of two evils?
@BigJohnson86, Satan 2020: Because he's still less evil than the other two
I didn’t vote. Not because I didn’t want to (which I didn’t). Not because I don’t know anything about the people running (which I don’t). But I love seeing people get angry when I say I didn’t.
@MetalHeadTony, I’m ok with it as long as you don’t bjtch about anything political. I hate those turd nuggets. Like bjtch they spent a month telling you 10 times a day to go vote. If you don’t like wtf they’re doin why tf didn’t you vote against him.
@BigJohnson86, exactly. No matter who I vote for I still have to pay taxes and go to work. I’m glad that I have the right to, but the act of doing so means very little to me. If you are informed and want to do it then by all means go ahead, but I refuse to do so until I become one of those people.
@MetalHeadTony, in some countries you get fined $50 for not voting.
@Shodai Hokage, thank God I don’t live in those countries. I shouldn’t be forced to really anything. I understand that I need to pay taxes but no matter how hard I try I still reap benefits from the government. Hell my entire salary depends on people paying taxes. But with regular life choices and career paths and whatever it’s my choice. What I’m trying to say is that $50 is too much. Maybe more like $3.50
@MetalHeadTony, Yeah, but in that country everyone votes, because there's many alternatives to vote, and its citizens are automatically registered to vote once they're 18, unlike here. If you don't wanna pay $50, then cast your vote, they'll even mail you a packet so you can read up on who's running and why.
@Shodai Hokage, I get it. My right to vote is exactly that. If I vote, be it forced or my choice I’ll just vote for a name that I recognize which means that person just used more money in ads and campaigns. If I pull random levers thats just as bad. My choice to not vote is mine because I refuse to have a say in something that I know nothing about. My vote is worthless because I know nothing nor do I care. I’m happy and the system we have is pretty good. Has been for awhile and I don’t know who to vote for to keep it that way or what biased source to trust to gather information.
