I’d be asking why I was awake while clearly have face surgery
@ImNotRacistBut, could be open brain surgery. They keep you awake for that, because you can't feel them fvcking around in your brain, but they can more easily tell if they mess up. Although open brain surgery suggests more than a "small cut"
@Duncan5769, that is fvcking terrifying
@MrJojo, don't worry, it's completely painless. You can't actually feel things touching your brain, it's the safest way to do it, because if you stop talking, or start spazzing out, they can hopefully fix it. I'm not a brain surgeon, I don't know the full details of the operation, just that it's better that way.
@Duncan5769, it's not the pain that is terrifying it's the thought of being fully awake while they are messing around in your brain, knowing full well that's the thing pretty much controlling, well, everything that you are. In fact not feeling anything through the whole thing would probably terrify me even more.
@MrJojo, Yeah, it's scary but the doctors that do it enough get good at keeping their patients calm. I wouldn't want to be the guy getting surgery from a guy fresh off the block.
@MrJojo, I’d be stressing so hard. My balls would be a tidepool
“Peter is me” seems like a weird way to phrase that, just bothers me
@The next plague, that’s because it technically should be “Peter am I.”
“I” is still the subject even if it’s inverted. It’s like saying “I am Peter” but backwards. Doesn’t change what the subject of the sentence is (“I”)
@The next plague, should have just been 'I'm Peter'
@The next plague, that's when the drugs kicked in
From the POV of a grape. They did surgery on a grape.
