but fr being overweight i bad for your physical health, please do consider losing some weight, you’ll feel much better and you’ll live longer
@The Soviet Bear, fvck you. Us millennials just wanna die anyways so this way we get pizza with it
@The Soviet Bear, well, I got a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology (which didn't get me a job but it did give me some perspective here), and I learned some important points about weight. If you want to know how healthy you are, get a blood test and check for all the blood fats, blood sugars (including A1c), and lipoproteins. Also get a urine test to determine whether your electrolyte balance. And if you live near a pool, you can do a very cheap, incredibly accurate body fat percentage test. All you need is a pool and a water bottle that can make you rise to the top of the pool when empty. (Ctnd)
@The Soviet Bear, look up "bottle buoyancy body fat" and you'll likely come up with a couple of research articles as the first results. The idea is to find out the exact volume of water and air in a bottle is needed to achieve neutral bouyancy (or the ability to "hover" instead of rising or sinking). The formula to calculate body fat from that should be on one of those articles (it's cheaper and more accurate than standard measurements).
The point of all that is, do not make weight loss your goal. That is a very easy way to get frustrated as your exact weight will not reflect your actual progress, despite what you might believe. Weight evaluation is, in my opinion, the biggest reason people give up on diet and exercise, and I don't blame them. (ctnd)
@Empshok, i found losing weight very easy, i just stuck to not eating fatty foods and working out once a week and in a year or so i lost some 60 pounds which isnt a lot for the time span but it worked
@The Soviet Bear, furthermore, it's crucial to develop an exercise routine that you can and will commit to. As someone who struggles to develop habits, I understand the struggle of trying to go to the gym. So, don't. Save your money. In fact, that's pretty much the mindset you need. If you have a lawn, get a push reel mower (man powered) for the exercise. If you have a big lawn, break up the job into 1-hour workouts. Listen to lively music and get your heart rate up (120-160 for your workout).
I would argue that exercise is much more important than diet; except for water. Gotta drink lots of water. When you start to get thirsty, drink as much water as you can tolerate.
Get yourself HEALTHY. Not SKINNY.
@Empshok, never said skinny just said not obese
@The Soviet Bear, sorry, I wasn't meaning to criticize you. I've just seen so many people get down on themselves because they feel like they can't do what is expected to be healthy. I just like to find solutions for people like me; clinically depressed and bad at setting habits. Also, fvck anybody who tells you not to eat pizza.
@Empshok, pizza is damn good
@The Soviet Bear, pizza is life, bro. If you can't eat pizza, what was all this about?
@ TouchMyCatEars, um...I'm afraid the question is a bit unclear...but if you're asking whether or not sex is a significant workout, it really depends on duration and intensity. Does it get your heart rate up past 120, and for how long?
...that's what she said
@Empshok, actually I read your comment wrong. I thought you were asking what life was about if you couldn't eat pizza. My bad.
And I was answering sex because I would choose it over pizza.
Sorry. Sorry everyone.
@ TouchMyCatEars, ...
Whoever is making you choose between sex and pizza is violating the Geneva Convention.
@Empshok, it's me, I'm doing it to myself. I want the pizza but I need the sex.
@ TouchMyCatEars, then you are a war criminal
@Empshok, I guess that's true but as usual I'm only hurting myself
@ TouchMyCatEars, for some fetishes, that's all that matters
@ TouchMyCatEars, honey. We can have both. And we can do it sustainably if we get our heart rates up above 120 for 30+ min at least once a week. The more the better though. Life is about pizza and sex and some other stuff too.
@The Soviet Bear, (responding to your 1st comment)
I also won't have to wear that size of tux pant in my wedding, the shirt will look better and I won't regret how I looked in my wedding photos forever.
Also, my underwear will probably fit better. Really been compressing everything lately. I like thiccc thighs but when they're mine I'd rather they be all muscle again.
“PiaSoPetty” It’s stupid how pettiness has become a virtue these days.
I mean, the first girl isnt wrong haha
