Also because of terrorists and undercover agents.
@I MC Cried , And literally everyone in Breaking Bad
Well I like money some I’m not going to throw away my phone.
@TheCoolestBean, you have already spent the money. The only way throwing away you phone would cost more money is if you buy another phone. The point of this meme was that they were getting rid of their phones and my guess is not to buy another
@Mkb617, they need those phones. They’re businessmen, so they take a lot of calls, if they don’t have a phone to take calls they lose their jobs, thus losing any money they where making.
@TheCoolestBean, did you even read or get the meme? They intentionally threw their phones away so that they could focus on family instead of business. If they were worried about having a phone they wouldn’t have thrown it away. The point still stands that throwing a phone away doesn’t actually cost anything. Buying a new one, which is a choice, does.
@Mkb617, yes I understand the meme. It is absolutely necessary to have their phone though to keep a steady income of money. They have to take calls with their PHONES to keep their jobs. They are losing money in the long run by throwing away those phones.
@TheCoolestBean, first off, it isn’t a real story. Second, they are the better judges of their financial situation. If they feel they have enough money put away to the point that they want to throw away their phones and focus on family instead of business, who are you to say it is impossible? Many people work and make money without taking calls. Many places you aren’t allowed to have a phone on you while you work. Maybe they quit the business world and gave up some of their potential income so as to have more time with family?
So that’s not what she meant when she texted “be pacific, what kinda crabs we talking aboat here?”?
So there’s free cell phones in the ocean?
How is their family going to get ahold of them when they are elsewhere?
It’s not cliche, it’s science!
