“I actually acted out the entire storyline of Anakin and it was actually really good. Afterwards I rolled up the script and used it for a blunt. But then afterwards George realized he never hit record so we had to reshoot, but we didnt have the script cuz I smoked it, which is why most of my lines are delivered so dry and didnt make any sense: I was high as shjt and I didnt have them memorized. But George said ‘fvck it’ and just put it in the movie, the madlad did it” - real quote from Hayden
They were acting like animals, and he slaughtered them like animals.
@Empshok, "I was still method acting from the first movie."
@Empshok, "but not just the men, but the women and the children- actually it was just the children..."
Unpopular opinion but i love the acting in episode 3. Honestly never thought mark hamill's acting was ever any good. He sounds like a good actor trying to act badly
Yea except also screw Hayden Christianson because his acting ruined those movies
@Fencingfiend93, people get that wrong. It wasn't his acting, it was his scripting. It was too cheesy. His acting and his portrayal of all the right emotions were spot on, it was the way his character was written that was so laughable
@Fencingfiend93, the movie was bad before he even said a word
@Swift Justice, his direction was probably bad too. Bad direction can make any good actor look stupid
@Swift Justice, you clearly havnt seen it in a while, its terrible. The script isn't the best either but he just ruined it
@Fencingfiend93, I've seen it recently, and I agree with him. He was dealt a bad hand but his acting was still well done
@wynaut, there’s a reason empire is often considered the best Star Wars movie. Lucas didn’t direct it.
@SeussAlmighty, Yeah, Hayden didn’t ruin the movies. Anakin did. Also, to his credit, those movies were pioneering some new territory. Someone in his position, still a fairly young actor, at a time when actors and directors were pretty exclusive roles, what was he supposed to do when handed the script for a fvcking Star Wars movie? Be like, “Nah, this dude’s a lil’ bîtch. I ain’t playing with that bankroll.”
@Swift Justice, THIS! So many people fail to separate writing from acting .
@Jessie02, oh hey. How's the blog? ;) find another place to run it successfully?
@Swift Justice, oh damn lol :P Still on tumblr. Also on humblr and bdsmlr under the same name
@Fencingfiend93, no one ever really complains about the actor. Everyone complains about the character. His character was a whiny bitch. That has nothing to do with his acting. Which is why I agree it was the script that was the problem not the acting.
