The look on his face says "Bring me Solo and the wookie."
I bought my dog from a breeder for $400. She is a purebred black lab, and was a breeding female that they retired at 6.5 years old. I've had her for 3 years, and she got backed up from getting into some bird seed. Cost me $800 in vet bills. Pets are freaking expensive!
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, tell me about it.. just had my cat fixed the other day.
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, but they’re worth it
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, I'm just mad that you bought from a breeder instead of rescuing from a shelter
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, here is some professional advice. Invest in pet insurance. I have TruPanion. I pay the higher deductible. When my dog had stage 3 melanoma and have to have a golf ball sized tumor removed, we played only $300 vs the thousands we would have had to dish out. Insure what you love.
@BlurredLimes v2, yeah I definitely have to get that!
@18bluecat, oh? Why is that? I got a dog that was treated very well, from a professional and ethical breeder. She is a purebred that will have no problems with her eyes, hip dysplasia or exercise induced collapse. She was only used for 4 litters before she was retired, and I only spent $400 for an amazing dog that I know will not give me a bunch of unnecessary health costs and vet bills due to genetic issues. Go to the shelter, and you are rolling the dice on getting one that will cost thousands in a few years because it is inbred or has bad genes. I also supported a local business that provides quality dogs for hunting and police service.
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, Mine got into the cat food ... Same ending, though.
The thing I'm taking away from this is that his turds are less expensive than a large Louis Vuitton purse
He looks like he has glorious poops.
