I get this is a matter, anti-matter joke, but why pasta? Is there something else I'm missing?
@Duncan5769, Antipasta is a dish that is served before the meal, as an appetizer. Pasta is, well, pasta. Antipasta is also called antipasto or plural antipasti.
@Commandshark, what is anti-pasta? Like what kind of dish?
@Blasphemy is Fun, it can be any of a number of things, depending on who's preparing it, but I've seen it as a mixture of cubed cheeses, meats and olives with olive oil.
@Blasphemy is Fun, appetizer
@Commandshark, ah never heard of that before. I though they chose a random food and threw anti behind it, and thought it was a lazy joke. That's not too bad then
@Duncan5769, I looked it up, apparently it’s just an erroneous version of antipasto.
@SWAT the fireman, huh, I had heard of antipasto (although to be fair I didn’t really know what it was) however I hadn’t heard of antipasta, but as it turns out it doesn’t exist, it’s just an incorrect translation of antipasto. *The more you know*
For some reason, I think of an auntie made of pasta
