Normally anti-vaxers are vaccinated but their kids aren't
@The Flame War, Why would you say something so true but yet controversial?
@RiffRaff, how is that controversial at all? I've never seen anyone argue that point
@The Flame War, I would think so, considering they lived long enough to have kids in the first place.
can they photoshop Jenny McCarthy’s face on this? It would be a masterpiece
So I do not get the flu shot because the only time I get sick is when I get the flu shot.
@RiffRaff, that's the only thing I would bash about this gif. Get vaccinated, but if you dont want the flue shot, you dont need to get it.
@ThePandaPool , yeah the flu is very different from polio, MMR, tetanus, etc. Some people do better without the flu shot (like me) and some do better with. But the big diseases we eradicated, yeah get those shots
@RiffRaff, nah, what you got is a slight response to the shot teaching your immune system that year's attenuated flu virus. As someone who was hospitalized from the flu, you'll know true flu when you actually get it. Also, seeing, as I already mentioned, the virus is attenuated, it's impossible to get the flu from the vaccine. That's like saying you posted your misinformed comment using a piece of phone.
If you can't tell, I'm over this misinformation about the flu vaccine. 150,000 children and 80,000 adults died from the flu in America last year. Get your shots and shut up with these lies. Go ahead and downvote because your personal, wrong opinions about the shot were proven wrong.
@CaseCat, I was in the marine corps for 8 years and we were forced to get the shot twice a year. I would get so sick I couldn’t get out of bed. You’re not going to tell me what kind of response I got. I’ve been around people that have the flu and I haven’t gotten sick from it.
@RiffRaff, I almost died from the flu, so yes I will. Your sniffles didn't hospitalize you. Scary how many people on this app make fun of anti-vaxxers but fall for the same lies they do.
Congrats on being super lucky for not getting the flu.
Can anyone tell me what "Hib" is?
@The real meowman, The Haemophilus influenzae type B vaccine, often called Hib vaccine, is a vaccine used to prevent Haemophilus influenzae type b infection.
