@Shodai Hokage, I work at Gamestop and I'm excited about the new CEO because of what he is going to do to benefit customers and employees. I am, however, sad that the one who had to resign died. He had big plans too.

I’m consistently surprised that GameStop is managing to stay in business. I’m betting they’re going to end up going the way of Blockbuster within the next decade.
@I Are Lebo, I think the pressure to stay in business is making them adopt better business practices. They just made a rule to where you can trade in any game within 48 hours and get full credit back. I also kind of like that they are stocking more figures and collectibles. I hope they can turn into something better, but if not, they’re going away for sure.
@Jordanv, I don’t think it’s working, to be honest. The merchandise sales aren’t enough to keep them in the black, and the competition with online game downloads are going to sink them. If it were up to me, I’d have them start a video game rental service, corner that market.
