As someone who works at red lobster I cannot confirm nor deny this
@delsinrowedent, As someone who owns a restaurant, I can confirm it’s what keeps me going.
@Mad Br0, you own a restaurant? I was thinking of starting my own.
@NameyMcNameFace, yea I own a fast food Phillysteak restaurant here in Portland.
@Mad Br0, that’s awesome. I was thinking of starting a pizzaria here in texas.
@NameyMcNameFace, it can be great but be prepared to spend a lot of time there, also really tough to take vacations if you don’t have a good manager. Things fall apart if I’m not there for a week. I have 11 employees right now but it’s a lot of stress and headache. It’s my 3rd year, the first year I only had handful of days off the whole year. So make sure to do your due diligence, find a good place, and be ready to dedicate all of your time. Good luck! I’d be more then happy to help if any questions.
@Mad Br0, would open your own restaurant or is it best to be franchisee owner?
I have the projections, what else do I need before I can get a loan from the bank. I have a great fico score (769) but I don’t have the funds or collateral to pay it if it goes under. How can I get the loan?
I have a location in mind. But everyone I know says its to big for an Italian place. It’s 9,000+ sq ft. But it’s on the “rich side” of town and near an apparent complexe. Should I get it or find another location?
@delsinrowedent, as someone who used to work as a line cook I will confirm this and I’ll say it wasn’t the only line I worked on while I was there
@NameyMcNameFace, email me firstname.lastname@example.org
@NameyMcNameFace, my reply to your email bounced back..
@Mad Br0, oh. I wonder why. (I didn’t know if it even went through)
I talked with the girl at the small business Administration who’s helping me out and she gave me a list of things I needed before I can ask for a loan.
As someone who works in a restaurant, they are all drug addicts.
When I saw “drugs” the first thing to pop into my head was “Not once did you pay for drugs!”
