Some scientists want to cool my body down to -273.15 degrees Celsius. My wife thinks it'll kill me, but I think I'll be 0k.
@ClamSoda, that's below the lowest possible temperature achievable.
@A girl called Riley, that's the joke...
@ClamSoda, people are gonna try telling that joke to their friends, and realise when they get to the punch line that it only works written down.
@ClamSoda, nobody ever said they died from absolute zero, it should be fine
@ClamSoda, I'm ABSOLUTEly sure!
@A girl called Riley, he thinks he will be 0k 0 kelvin is -273.15 Celsius thats the joke
@LexIsOnIt, I'm glad you guys liked that one, so here's another.
@LexIsOnIt, A girl walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a double entendre.
So he gives it to her.
@ClamSoda, I don't get it :(
@A girl called Riley, you're a fuc*ing retard .
@ClamSoda, that's kinda cool
@ClamSoda, nice. You must be a father.
@A girl called Riley, the joke
@I Are Lebo, just practicing
Okay, firstly, everyone saying that absolute zero is -273 celsius (A girl called Riley) is wrong, it's -273.15, as ClamSoda said. Secondly, absolute zero is not achievable. As LoganV870 said, to reach such a temperature one would need something colder, which is not physically possible as particles cease to move at absolute zero. Scientists have experimented with trapping atoms with lasers in order to cool them, and have got a few fractions away from 0K, but never exactly to it. Rant over.
@TheButtster, but we do keep getting closer.
@TheButtster, I am just wondering as to where u are getting ur information from?
@TheButtster, but is it possible that there is a substance that is at absolute zero and has been since the beginning of time?
@WilfredMott, well in theory if absolute zero was achieved then all particle movement would stop which would mean time would stop. Kind of like kissing a girl you like except the absolute zero thing is more likely.
@Hobo with an iPod, interesting. Is time really dependent on molecule movement? Oh and is why is absolute zero more likely?
@TheButtster, absolute zero has been achieved. And actually it's a very interesting topic as to how they achieved it, I suggest it. EDIT: for those disliking, we have achieved below absolute zero, not just absolute zero. Look into superstates, very interesting. Also, temperature is an average, there are plenty of particles around you at absolute zero right now and they're not falling apart, that's an old theory since disproved.
Celsius: that escalated quickly
@Reezy F Baby, i think you mean kelvin
@Reezy F Baby, you made me squeal in laughter
Why does the "next" arrow have to be so close to the ads?
Someone should upload a picture that's a collage of all of the funny comments on this app
If we all just used Celsius or Fahrenheit from the beginning life would've been so Mj easier.. Same with the metric system
0 degrees kelvin is impossible
@sealteam5, it's still a temp. it's absolute zero. Hence, dead
@sealteam5, well yes it's still impossible we have gotten very close to 0 kelvin.
@sealteam5, no it's possible in space
@Moo Cow Panshi, no it isn't. Space is about 2 Kelvins. With the ambient radiation of the Big Bang and whatnot.
Because physics, Bitch!
The hell is kelvin?
@thetalkingbanana, have you not been listening in science class?
Celsius, 0 - freezing point, 100- boiling point.
I still prefer Celsius
Celsius is so much better once you get used to it
A funny comment is here somewhere I just know it. It's so close. Gahhh!!
It's weird when nobody has commented then I won't know what to think of the photo...
If only there were one that everyone could agree on
@Zangetsu67, yeah especially since only America and one other country don't use metric
I'm getting sick of these adds they pop up every time I comment
@Impuls32296, buy the full version then..
@santarapes children, they're not THAT annoying
I hate Celsius...
I wish we would all just convert to Kelvin anyway. It has absolute zero and we wouldn't have to deal with these negative numbers which make no sense since you can't have less than nothing.
@vsauce, It's not less than nothing, it's less than freezing. (at least w/ Celsius. But then again, I use Fahrenheit)
@vsauce, negative numbers in measurements are meant to show direction, like -50m/s show an object is going to the left, just like how positive temperatures in Celsius show warmer temperatures, and negative temperatures show colder temperature
@vsauce, you obviously don't know what the negative means.... it's relative to the freezing point of water. We can't reach absolute zero anyway. Its impossible.
@vsauce, if we did, we'd have to take a VERY long time to record temperatures
@vsauce, is this Michael? You are correct, you CAN'T have less than nothing but C probably makes the most sense in modern society where 0 is the freezing point of water. People need relativity to understand things and even sometimes then they don't understand.
@vsauce, screw that! "Hey turn the heat up 1 kelvin." "Jesus Christ, it just got a lot hotter in here! But it was only one degree!" "Yeah, but it was kelvin so it got friggin hot"
I'm the only one who makes good content on here.
I was unaware that Kelvin was even a temperature system
@CyanideAndHappiness, it's used by scientists, I learned it in my physical science this year
I admit I Lol'ed. Only because I'm nerd
Please let me not be the only one to get this
Absolute zero? Better get out my snuggie.
well that escalated quickly
Kelvin starts at absolute zero and goes up in the same scale as Celsius. Absolute zero is -200something degrees
@Dajaha, it's -273
Damn damn damn what do I do no ones commented! Oh I know! LOL
Soo..where's the funny?
Hardy har har
The joke is how bad this picture is
Haha so funny .. Jk
Cut the sausage links
Said the pack mull
Showed to my sister and he said oh I like Kevin he's from dead to dead
Lol. Learned about kelvin today and 0 kelvin is when nothing can move. Im sucha nerd
@LiLCano24, it is impossible to have 0 kelvins because you need something colder for the heat to go into and nothing is colder then 0 kelvins
@Loganv870, it is possible. That is why it exists.... Btw it's -273 degrees Celsius
First like and comment
@Liamb123, you don't belong here!
Velociraptors 0 - not dead 1 - your very dead
Being from Texas, 100 degrees Fahrenheit is slightly warm and 0 degrees Fahrenheit is absolute zero to us
I was watching the Chinese news and while watching the weather forcast, "HOLY BALLS IT'S ONLY 25 DEGREES IN BEIJING wait I'm an idiot"
I think saunas have 100 celsius
Fun Fact: Absolute Zero is the temperature that Oxygen freezez. This will result in a cartoon effect. Where everything is a massive Ice Block.
@Darkbloodysoul09 , strictly speaking, I'm not sure that's true...
Zero kelvin is also impossible.
Just stating facts..
I get it
I learned how to convert between temperatures in chemistry but I forgot.
Celsius makes so much more sense
Look at the uploaders name...
V.S Shower: All the to the left- Antarctica. All the way to the right- Mordor.
Yay *SMART JOKES*
Not sure where the joke is....
@elweshomayor, it's saying that U.S. costomary is kind of, for lack of a better word, dumb compared to metric
