I'm the kinda guy that needs a fan on. Not just for that soothing breeze but the noise too, I can't stand dead silence when I sleep.
@LowBlowBro, I’ve been falling asleep to the TV for the last 15 years. Idk how people sleep in silence. Animals
@VibratingButtChomper, Seriously though, like my mind races if I don't have a distraction I guess. Silent sleepers are 2spoopy4me.
@VibratingButtChomper, my dad falls asleep to tv and I don’t understand it. My mind just listens to the show and can’t shut off because it’s focussed on the tv. White noise like a washing machine is nice though. Nothing to focus on while drowning out the silence
@LowBlowBro, if it’s too cold in my room I add a heating fan to my regular fan. I need white noise to sleep and it’s difficult WITH it. Downright impossible without.
@The next plague, same, I can’t sleep to music either. I drift off and then wake up and the song just seems to skip.
@LowBlowBro, my mother always had the fan on when I was a baby, and I suppose you get habituated, and now anywhere there's loud fans, I get a little sleepy. Though don't have the fans too loud, that sh1t running every night for 8 hours
@RomeoStealYoGurl, my mom ran a vacuum cleaner when I fell asleep. I can now sleep through the earth breaking in half.
@LowBlowBro, just don’t start wearing earplugs, I did that because there was construction and now I can’t sleep without them... plus a loud fan
@LowBlowBro, a nice box fan does the trick for me
@The next plague, My gf watches tv in bed when she sleeps, but I can't stop watching it ever. Drives me crazy and keeps me up all night, but a fan noise, or washing machine or something is the best. +1
@LowBlowBro, I’m the same way, dead silence is so loud!
Sometimes I like to make myself really cold before I go to bed, normally I just directly beside my fan. Then I wrap myself up like a burrito and it's the best feeling ever.
Does anyone else wake up in the middle of the night from it being too hot under the blanket, so you lift it up a little bit so circulate the cool air, and it feels like you’re pressurizing a spaceship
I’m a weirdo who can’t sleep with any sound on. I need a completely dark and silent room.
@godricgryffindor, I'm the same, a bird chirping just once can mess it up for me lol
I got a weighted blanket recently. Deepest sleep I’ve ever had. So warm
@FPVeteranWolf, I've been considering buying a weighted blanket but wasn't sure if they lived up to the hype
@FPVeteranWolf, oh man give me some more news about this I’ve been wanting to get one, I have a problem sleeping with thin sheets and it’s pretty cold
@DrSin, you definitely won’t be cold. I wake up hot with mine sometimes. But it still feels amazing. Took me a couple nights to get used to but now it’s the only way I like to sleep
@FPVeteranWolf, damn, how many nights you’ve had it? And is there different weights ? Or a common standard weight you can only buy
@DrSin, I only saw one kind in target (2 different colors, but same blanket), and I’ve had it about a week. There may be other brands though idk
@FPVeteranWolf, ok fair enough thank for the info if I get one I will find you and some where and let you know if I like it
This is my religion.
What is a comforter?
Sorry I only use T H I C C comforters
I can only sleep when it's cold. Summer is hard on me because the heat keeps me up. If it's above 70 there's a good chance I'll have trouble sleeping. The wind is a blessing. Anything above that, especially without wind, I have to sleep in the nude just to fall asleep. Understandable when my preferred T-shirt weather is like 40 degrees lol.
