@Ze Grammar Nazi, I did the exact same thing.
@A pet named Steve, you...deserve this upvote.
In all honesty if you have the kind money that you can afford to buy a car that can self diagnose it’s self you can probably afford to have the car order tires for you
@Thone09, I work for a company that does extended warranties on cars. People will buy a car they can't afford to repair. Most of the time, I can help out when something breaks. But not everything is covered and I've had people driving a Mercedes or BMW tell me they can't afford anything more than their deductible which is usually no more than $100.
@Azyoulikeit, and parts for those kinds of cars be H E L L A expensive
@Thone09, imagine the car’s algorithm is not good with counting and it ordered seven tyres
@Azyoulikeit, extended warranty is crap. As an actuary who studies insurance and the statistics, extended warranties for cars are 88% profit for the seller. People spend way more on the extended warranties than they save. Then again most people make car payments for vehicles they can’t afford so.... they’re dumb anyways.
@Child Slapper, are you talking 88% profit for the dealer that sales it or the insurance companies that provide the coverage. I can tell you with certainty it isn't that high for the insurance company. 88% would even be low for our combined ratio.
That sounds neat, but impractical
@WelI Obviously, Have you looked under the bonnet of a Model 3 Tesla? There’s literally a storage space, a couple of bag hooks, and the filler cap for the washer fluid - everything else is sealed away. Probably has to self-diagnose because there’s no way to open it up and find the problem yourself.
@WelI Obviously, I expect “pre-order” is a poor phrasing. I expect that it would tell you what it is and where you might by it.
@Ewok612, yea that's what i would want. The diagnostic ability is pretty neat
"Hey I ordered brand new parts for myself!"
*checks bank account tho make sure I'm not broke* "Alright cool, let me know when you install them"
"Yeeeah, about that..."
a self aware car.
@Scrabby, it will know when you fart inside scrabby
*Orders expensive new interior decorations*
It’s not just a phase mom!
If you have a tesla and cant afford tires then youve made a mistake
@The Lumbridge Cook, the Tesla Model 3 is cheaper than a new Honda Accord.
Who this tesla and why she have your credit card?
Pre-order? So the parts wouldn’t be available for quite a time?
What if it needs a part and you can't afford it...
Will you go overdrawn in your bank ?
