I feel like honestly they put themselves in a really tight spot by adding time travel because time travel is so hard to do right and the other issue is that now there’s literally never any issue that can’t be solved by going back in time and fixing it.
@Lord Cthulhu, (spoiler alert!) except for Tony and Natasha’s death... sadly...
@Lord Cthulhu, except going back in time doesn't change anything.
@The Freaking FBI, exactly. So in theory, because as they said during the movie. No matter what you do in the past, since it's your new present and does not change the past of your timeline. They could go back and save Natasha, Gamora and Tony. Bringing them back to the present doesn't change what happened in the main timeline. They could bring quicksilver back. Nobody would want to. But they could.
@Lord Cthulhu, I think it’s lazy writing.
@Spider4x, Finally, someone else gets it. It’s kind of like when they had Dr. Strange look at all the alternate futures. They were in essence guaranteeing that the plot would be “above criticism” because that’s the only way things would work.
@Spider4x, time travel is and always will be a writing crutch, time travel ruins every story
@Lord Cthulhu, yeah but they could always just ignore it now. Like once and done. Kind of like how we tried to ignore the fact that strange easily could have just portaled away the glove in infinity wars.
Why make him green and blue for hulk and nebula but not white for say.. Thor or Captain America?
