It was really depressing seeing him go considering he was only 1 or 2 episodes away from taking the record. If he had gone out a week earlier or a week later it wouldn’t have felt so bad
@TriangleTesticles, is that the guy that kept winning a bunch of money, and started the board from the bottom? I saw a video about him on YouTube, and how he plays, it was pretty good.
@Duncan5769, yup! That’s him
@TriangleTesticles, yeah his last game was not as exciting as it should have been. Ken Jennings is arguably a better player still (even if his record was beaten) as Ken showed he had endurance (getting through 74 games). James may have almost matched his score in less than half the time, but that was due to his high wagers and big risks (not necessarily his intelligence). Regardless, James is still a very smart guy that was impressive to watch. Jeopardy will bring him back for sure in tournaments.
@nate930, wouldn't it be more intelligent to play the way James did though?
@But I have pants on, depends on what you call "intelligence". I'd put quick knowledge recollection at a higher level of intelligence than a proficient gambler.
That smile makes him look like a serial killer
