I try very hard to be inclusive and understanding towards people who hold to a different ideology than I do. I like to say “I don’t have to agree with you in order to respect you.” But as hard as I try, I just can’t respect someone who buys into such a ridiculous conspiracy theory. One that’s filled with outlandish claims that are so easily proven false that children could figure it out. They’re so ideologically committed that they accept things as true that they have no rational justification for, and ignore things that are true because it goes against their beliefs. It’s a shame, because a lot of them are good and even intelligent people, but they believe stupid things and it’s hard to respect someone who chooses to believe stupid things. And that’s why I can’t be friends with Catholics.
I’m a member of the flat birth society. We believe all births should be flat.
