@Bow To Your Senpai, 20 M here, 6ft, 10st got a nice double memory foam mattress and I still wake up with not a great back. Without seeing anything on this I tried the first "correct" way, and my god it made a miles difference. I also use the pillow lengthways and maybe something else ontop to try and weigh myself down and that also helps quite alot. End up feeling alot more refreshed and not so stiff or achy when I wake up. Thinking about trying a weighted blanket.

I highly suggest doing this, Its so much more comfortable and you sleep like a baby with the proper support
I always pop a pillow in between my legs so I don’t crush my balls.
If thousand of years of humans slept like that, i don't see why i should sleep differently.

@Jeancul, if you want to sleep better, try it. If you don't, you do you. No one's forcing you to do anything. There's always an optimal way to do things. Optimal isn't always best, but for most things, including this, it is.

I just sleep on my back and scoot my butt up to get the right lumbar position and I try to not use a pillow because I'm pretty sure that's what's causing my neck/shoulder pain.
Or maybe it's when I A) browse memes to sleep or B) inevitably roll over to be the bug spoon and sleepily forget to put the pillow under my head.
For real though, if you sleep on your side and you haven't tried putting a pillow between your thighs, TRY IT! It's so comfortable.
@Candycane Forest, but then that's a nut/cooch pillow and can't be used as a regular pillow.
(I live in a warm often humid area with no AC or even central air)
So with my fat belly, i can sleep dace down anywhere, you skinny jerks have to pay more. If only i had a fat p3nis i could sleep on my side.
