All characteristics that make you good at a job are a gift. So no one should get paid and everything is free.
@Rowule, try been a communist, you like that
If you’re good at something, never do it for free.
“Sweet, with your power, you should make all of my necessities such as rent and food be free. Glad I ran into you today.” Art critic is the apartment building owner.
Art: how the rich launder money. Change my mind.
A friend of mine runs a programming business and they had someone say they wanted an app, so they gave them a price and the ‘client’ said “oh no, we don’t want a price. We want you to come out here and teach us how to do it so we can just do it ourselves.”
@RollingInD1ck, lol, the stupidity of people will never cease to shock me
Let’s not forget that it’s ART, basically the adult version of coloring, and no one wants to waste good money on some doodles when it’s everywhere for free regardless of what your college told you while taking your money
@Gothem, you haven't tried "adult coloring," have you? It's hard as hell. Is one thing to share on your own, but to have someone else say a person's hard work should be free is messed up
@Gothem, yeah good luck getting someone whos done it for years to lower their price with that logic. Get the ugly free shït then
@Gothem, Have fun watching Jake Paul videos on YouTube instead of feature length movies, then. Why waste good money on a movie when you can watch YouTube videos for free?
@Gothem, it’s not everywhere for free, it’s everywhere paid for by someone. If you see anything drawn or designed on packaging, in cartoons, in movies, in video games, textiles, magazines, books, or online, it’s likely something an artist was paid to make and publish.
@Gothem, firstly art is many things, not just drawing (music, landscaping, surgery), secondly people don’t want something anyone else could use, they want something specific to their product
